Chapter.4 At School

The next thing I knew it was morning. I must of fallin asleep on my couch next to my window.

I checked my watch to see what time it is. It said 7:55.

I acidenatally sleept in too late.

I quickly got up put on a gray tee and a jean skirt.

I brushed my hair up into a sloppy bun,brushed my teeth and put my converse on.

I ran down to the cafe I grabbed an apple said good by to my mom and rushed out to my bike and rode away. It was Monday.

I don't like Mondays. When I walked in my high school I saw the drama kids, popular at the lunch tables, Band kids (I'm also in band but we each do our own things)and the jocks. Then there's us.

My friend Emma and I are in our own group the not popular not so atletic and not nerdy kids, even though we're both in band, we are very athletic and we love to see the schools drama plays, but far from popular.

When I caught up with Emma I saw her with our other friend. His name is Travis.

He's really nice and we've all been friends since the 4th grade and we've been ensepreble since. He has dirty blond hair, dark brown eyes and he has a huge crush on the head of the pop squad(or popular people and shes also know as the evil rat). Her name is Audrey Willows and she only thinks she's cool because her brother is the senior football star and he has lead us to victory every year with still having strait A's and she has to brag about it every day.

When the bell rings I head off to my first class english then math then history then science then Band.

My last class is Maderin because my mom thought it would be a good idea to learn a diffrent language than just Spanish or french.

On our way to thd cafe Emma tells me that she talked to Audrey.

Emma: Audrey told me that she needs a new idea for the little kids she's baby sitting for.

Me: well what did you tell her?

Emma: I said that I know a friend the knows the zoo like the back of her hand and would be willing to show the kids around the zoo.

Me: WHAT!! Why would you tell her that? Besides knowing Audrey she probably has somthing up her sleeve anyway.

Emma: I know but I really want to get a interview with her brother. (Emmas on the schools jouralism and has wanted an interview with the schools football star).

Me: fine but I'm only free on Saturday,and you owe me a Frappuccino for this.

Emma:YAHHH!!!!thanks Abby your the best.

After she screamed she gave me a big hug and almost squeezed me to death.

When we got back to the cafe we started math homework(correction I was starting math homework she was playing on her phone).

I started to tell her about our crazy substitute for math and then Audrey walked in and her crew also.

I couldn't belive it because she never comes on this side of town. Then she walked over.

Audrey: Hey guys so how was school by the way did you see my brother score 7-0 the other day.

Emma: Yes we all did because you made us because your class president.

I laughed but didn't say anything else.

Audrey: So Abby your mom owns this place. Well it's cute, not too big. By the way did you know that my dad owns the top restrant in town.

Emma: look Audrey you don't have to brag.

Right when Emma said that Audrey brother walked in. He's tall and has dark brown hair. His name is

Mason.

Mason: Hey guys I saw your last concert you were amazing!

Emma: I didn't know you went to band concerts.

Mason: yah I've always liked music that you can make and not just press play all the time.

Audrey: anyway, so I'm going to have to miss the whole baby sitting at the zoo thing on Saturday sorry.

I knew that Audrey doesn't need money but she needs credits to graduate, but I knew that she would miss it anyway.

Me: WHAT I'm not gonna do that if no one's gonna be there.

Mason: don't worry I'll go to keep you company well see you Saturday.

Mason: Well see you later

Mason left because his football friends were calling him to the next table, but I was glad he's coming. I think I was wrong about him.
