"It's my fault, Mrs. Uris! I was the one who took him in the forest!" I scream. Stan is in for surgery for the stab wound. What happened is my fault and I know it.
"Bill, don't do that to yourself. The doctors said Stan will be okay. You're the first one to visit him. We're suing the camp. If you weren't there, Stan would've. Died." Mrs.Uris whispered. I hug her.
"William Denbrough?" A middle aged women called out. I walk up.
"Stanley is on a lot of medication right now. You'll have to be careful. Okay?" The nurse told me. I shake my head to show her I understand. She opens the door. Stan is laying still. His curls are messed up, which he would hate. He's shirtless with a big patch on his stomach. Tears come to my eyes.
"I'm so sorry, Baby. It's all my fault that this happened. I can't lose you, I fucking love you Stanley Uris." I whisper. As if my words were magic, I feel Stan start to stir.
"Bill?" Stan hoarsely whispers.
"Stan!" I yell. Stan covers his ears.
"I'm sorry, Baby. For all of this. I know you want to break up with me." I cry out. Stan squeezes my hand.
"William Denbrough, I'm not breaking up with you. I love you, I'm not giving you up." Stan explains. Mrs.Uris enters the room.
"Bill, you're going to come home with us. Your parents said it was okay. Your Dad is going to get your guys' stuff." Mrs.Uris explains. Stan beckons me to sit next to him.
"I'm so,"
"Bill, don't be sorry. We got to warn the others."
