When I saw the treehouse it made me realize how much Bill actually does love me.
"You guys did this for me?" I ask.
"It was all Bill, Stanny. His really loves you." Bev replies. I look at Bill who's smile goes from ear to ear. I run into his arms. He kisses my curls.
"It's true, Baby." Bill says, "whenever you were asleep I would sneak away to do this for you."
Everyone goes inside. I look up into the tree tops. I start to have flashbacks. It's like I'm there, in that basement. Bill sits me down.
"It's okay. You're safe." Bill whispers. The vision starts to go away. Bill's melancholy voice makes all the pain and hurt go away. We go into the treehouse. Everyone clears out, leaving Bill and I alone.
"I made this for you. Look I carved our names into the wood." Bill points to our names. 'Stanley Uris and Bill Denbrough, 1990.' Maybe one day our kids will come here with their boyfriend or girlfriend and carve their names. No one would ever know. That's they way I like it. Just us two. Again sit the whole world.
