"Get the FUCK away from him!" I scream. Henry grabs Stan, punching him for the millionth time. First day of the last year and we're already getting targeted. I look Stan straight in the eye, slowly closing. His beaten up body, which has already been through a lot. I tackle Henry, pulling him off of Stan. I get punched and punched. Until I manage to get away, I take Stan and our stuff. We just run. I manage to get us into a janitors closet.
"Baby, you okay?" Stan asks.
"I'm okay. We need to get you to the nurse!" I exclaim. Stan drops in and out of consciousness. When we get to the nurses, she calls 911 right away. I hold his hand and ask him questions. When Stan gets taken to the hospital, the nurse forces me to go back to class. I can't stop thinking about Stan. Once the final bell rings, I basically race out of the school. I could be a track star. I grab all my stuff for homework, I run out to my beaten up old car. I throw my backpack into the backseat. I drive a little over the speed limit because I know the police won't do shit. When I get to the Derry Home Hospital, I almost bump into about 6 nurses.
"Stanley Uris, room 718." The nurse says. I run to the room. I knock softly. My Mom opens the door.
"I have to get Georgie. Stan's sleeping," She whispers. The sight of my beautiful boyfriend makes my heart break. I start to tears up. I set my hand on his fragile body. Bruises, cuts, beeps, sobs. Stan's eyes open.
"Bill, Babe, is that you?" Stan groans.
"Yeah it's me, Baby? How you feeling?" I ask.
"I'm sore. I just want to cuddle, is that okay?"
"I can't b-breath." Stan gasps. I slam the nurses button. They manage to give him a breathing tube. Just then, Principal Sawyer comes in.
"Boys, Henry Bowers in jail."
