{Chapter Three}
Hogwarts School of Dance-craft and Musictry

Mornings kind of really sucked; to everyone else on Earth. Juliette may complain about getting up in the morning but really it's where she thrived. Many thought it contradictory towards her personality but for some reason, if you decided to waste your time thinking about it, it made sense. Anyways the first week of classes was in no ways a motivator for Juliette to wake up early and yet, here she was.

After her early rising every day the year prior she had developed some strategies to keep her entertained-err sorry, busy. Once school work started to load up she would do that. But one of her other favorite morning hobbies was to go to the kitchens. Behind the secret bowl of fruit and through a few narrow and winding halls there was a secret nook. One of the house elves, Missy, had showed her it one day. Despite the kitchen being in the basement the nook had a wonderful view: it showed the grounds and a small courtyard which when all the flowers fell from the trees looked like a scene from a movie.

Today Juliette was continuing with her daily routine when she noticed something weird. One of the normally perfectly placed stones on the wall across from her window was skewed. "Missy?" she called quietly approaching the wall hesitantly.

The little house elf appeared behind and looked over her shoulder to see what she was looking at. "Uh oh, you weren't supposed to see that," she said in a soft voice.

Juliette spun around suddenly her auburn hair flying wildly, "See what? What happened with the wall and what difference would it take whether or not I saw it?"

Missy looked down at her feet her fingers playing with the ends of her cloth dress, "Headmaster told Missy and the other elves not to tell anyone especially the boys with red hair as they'd just get into trouble."

"But what is it?"

"Missy really shouldn't say."

"Come on Miss, I have no one to tell."

"That is true."

"And you know that I wouldn't do anything to hurt you."

"You make good points Miss Prewett."

"Thank you Missy, so..?"

Missy looked back and forth down the hallway as though someone would jump out at any second. "It's part of a very old passageway. Way back during the time of the founders they didn't use many house elves, and Helga Hufflepuff liked to cook. So she had a secret passageway made, one of the many made throughout the castle. This one is one of the oldest it leads throughout the walls of the castle and connects the Hufflepuff dorms to the kitchen, the great hall, and that courtyard just out the window." Missy pointed out the window to the place that Juliette had spent hours gazing upon.

"Wait, so there is more than this one passage?"

Missy's face paled, "Missy knew she shouldn't of said anything. Headmaster is going to fire Missy then she'd have no one to serve. Then no one would be able to bring you your morning tea the way you like it. Then no one would deal for Professor McGonagall's underground card-"

"Missy I told you, if anything were to happen I would defend you and if Dumbledore still doesn't let you stay you can help at my house."

"Oh really Miss Prewett?"

"Really and I told you, you don't need to call me that Juliette works fine."

"Yes Miss Juliette. Now I must be going, enjoy your tea," and with a small pop Missy disappeared.

Juliette looked to the wall curiously. Fabian and Gideon hadn't told her of  anything as cool as this. She reached out her hand going to touch the wall when she heard voices approaching. The only people that knew about her spot were Fabian and Gideon and she had promised she wouldn't let them learn about this so called secret passage so she quickly scurried to her seat and took a sip of her tea.

"I told you Dumbledore wasn't that big of an idiot," one voice said scoffing.

"You never know. My dad said he heard all sorts of stories about them when he was a kid," a voice responded.

"I think you're just trying to get us into trouble," a third very familiar voice responded.

The three boys turned the corner and Juliette was faced with Remus and his two 'friends.'

"Juliette! What are you doing here?" Remus asked with a smile.

"This is my spot. I always get up early and have cup of tea here."

"Interesting," the boy with glasses stated. "At the end of a hall by a window."

Juliette raised an eyebrow. "Yes so interesting. Windows." Honestly yes she loved windows but she didn't want to say anything at all alarming before the boy. He seemed to ooze curiosity and she couldn't risk him finding her newly discovered passage so she decided to lead the boys back to the kitchen. "Anyway have you guys meet any of the house elves yet? They are the sweetest things."

The boys shook their heads so she lead them back into the main kitchens and away from the mysterious wall. Juliette smiled to herself as she walked, she was right this year was going to be full of adventures.
