Drip...drip...dripThe sole sounds daring to whisper with the choir of rain in the parking lot of the cafe. It was dripping gory aftermath of Koda's second kill of agent Hersall sliding down his denuded frame. The blonde had been mauled to death much the same as his larger friend, now the blood, thick and slow, became intoxicating to the Hybrid's senses and triggered something all so dangerous that scared away any sign of the raging storm above.
And then, as the pattering rain quickly withdraws, a gratingly pained cry bursts through the hybrid's vocal cords with enough power to rip the sky into two. Koda jarred and collapsed to his knees, heaving in struggled cries as his innards twisted and convulsed to no end. He attempted to rotate his weakly pulsing arms, whimpering as the black veins ignited with stinging virulence rushing through his insurgent body. There was a threat of ferocity to take over once more.
Those sharp golden eyes fell to the reddened concrete by Hershall's fresh remains, they were pricked with hot stinging tears. The agony of his malformed body stuck in between the instinctual beastly tendencies and the humanistic will of control was a pain unlike any other. Koda's sharpening fingers squeezed through his wet rumpled hair, his body steamed with unfathomable heat. And feline whimpers dripped from him like the blood on his skin. It took everything within to try and calm down, but with the kill of Tucker and then Hersall still fresh in his teeth, there was no stopping what he had tried to repress.
It was bloodlust.
Koda retched, sweaty and hot coughing out, the swirl of his bodily changes confusing his every sense, but then, a muffled noise steadied his awareness, he raised his gaze to see Miss Lelita covering the eyes of a sputtering Ojwang, the sight of the boys hot tears spilling from her fingers had guilt ripping Koda up from the inside.
Trembling in heavy constricted pants accompanied by grotesque clicking of bones called in another grossly scream. His thoughts were fearful, erratically rampant with that (H/C) haired, (E/C) eyed waitress he tried to protect... from the monsters that cruelly experimented on him... and from himself.
But now, the shadows and vibrations twisted around his form, taking him piece by piece. the temptation of being with his desired mate and killing everyone around them was becoming too sweet for anything else.
Koda shakily marks up to Miss Lelita who mumbled a prayer with widened eyes. "Leave here..." He uttered in swallowed cries. They were the first ever spoken words he gave to her, someone who has acted as the mother he never had. "Go." Koda growls lowly, holding onto his last grip for humanity to ward them away from his irritable state. "I can't... fight this... anymore."
Koda's body contorts, that amber skin blooming poisonously black, and a shattering roar rumbles over the distant thunder. "(Y/...(Y-Y/N...(Y/N)"
That name on his tongue had the hybrid lustful, the sinfully euphoric thoughts tainted his altered mind, and all that was left to do was to find her... and make her his.

The broad library was truly spectacular to the eyes; a grandiose maze of endless stories, stacked high to the heavens the covers in earthy hues of brown-reds, greens, and blues hiding away unique tales of old.
My fingertips softly grazed the hardbound spines, touching the gold lettering, faded and aged, It was slightly difficult to decipher what was written. Upon my focused and squinting eyes came a realization, that my blind fascination and awe of the antiquated library brought me to an enchanting collection of classics and fairy tales.
The little mermaid... snow-white... the wind and the willows...
A soft smile drew upon my cheeks with my recognition of the particular titles, but it took only a second later to wither away for recent happenings had pushed into the forefront of my mind. My hand unsteadily strays from the fairy tales, wavering in my hesitance and guilt
