It been a week since Castro's warning. It been an exhausting week. I tried thinking it's just me over thinking thinking it.

"Listen Alex is not a good person to be involved with, there are things you don't know, things that will tear you or him apart,"

My coffee was black due to my damp mood. I stared out the window Hennessy has been out and about with Castro. I avoid Alex unsure of what to say to him after Castro's hurrah.

After finishing the bitter coffee, placing the mug in the sink. I walked out, slugging my way to Hennessy's bungalow. My cotton sweat pants dragged on the floor and I was in Alex's tee shirt.

As I crossed the garden, I heard harsh shouting.
"Him being here is a mistake,"
"If you want me dead, you'd better come and do it yourself, Jackson"
The voice sounded familiar but I just couldn't put my finger on it.

I double think interfering in the conversation. I decided to turn the other cheek. I tiptoed into my room and changed into something that can take on the day.

My shirt got stuck on my head, I struggled until a, ray of hope, a knock on my door.

"Who is it?" I asked, maybe it was Hennessy. "Your favourite person,".

Great Alex.

"Come in and help me with our tee shirt. I said, with a pit in my stomach. I felt a bit guilty on talking to him, but meh.

" Our shirt, " I could feel the smirk right now." Yes our shirt, ". I heard the door as it banged against the wall.

The tee shirt was finally moved and I stood there looking at him. He had a shadow of a beard and his bright emerald eyes were duller than usual.

" Are you okay?" I asked, feeling as if this is my fault." Why are you ignoring me?" He replied in what I guess was his business tone. Truth be told, I was ignoring him. "I'm not ignoring you," I stated calmly. "Get ready in 20 minutes, we're going out,"

"Ughhh..... No,"
"15," He spoke blankly. "But why," I spoke again. "10,"

"Th-" he raised a brow at me, "you really want to finish that sentence, buttercup,"

I sighed in defeat. He left as I made my over to my part time closet.

I decided on denim jeans and a black top to match with my boots. I met up with Alex outside with the car already running.

"I texted Hennessy to meet us at the carnival," He finally said, his eyes glued to the road. We have been driving for what, 10 minutes now and the ride has been peaceful thus far.

"We're going to a carnival?" I asked," why didn't you just tell me Alec,".

I puffed and looked out the window.

I stuffed cotton candy in my mouth and smiled at the camera. "Say Hennessy!" Hennessy screamed from behind the camera. Alec and Some guy named Peter had gone men bonding. I thought it was a joke at first but yes, we are at a carnival.

They say make hay while the sun while shines.

I posed a few more times until I saw shot gun ring, I saw Alec taking shot to a teddy bear. I smiled and walked to him. Peter was awkward trying to hold the gun right.

It turned into a game who wins the bear first. Alex had a pretty good shot but Peter wasn't giving up. I smirked at I watched the scene unravel before me.

I felt something burning into my skin as if someone was watching me. I turned around, scanning my surroundings. I caught site of two blue eyes looking at me, the owner was non other than, Calvin.

I stared at him, waiting to see the first move. Didn't no one told him it's not polite to stare?

He gestured to the ferris wheel. I froze, weighing my options. I turned looking at Hennessy for her to decline but she looked at me worriedly, trying to read my facial expressions.

A smile slowly made it way on her face as she figured out how the situation.

"Girl!! Calvin is giving you the googly eyes," she screamed like a kid excited over Christmas. "Keep your voice down,"

"Go over there to him," she insisted. "No, I'm quite fine here with you guys,"
"Remedy go live a little, at least one of us should enjoy this outing," she spoke her voice getting smaller and quieter at each word. I sighed. It wouldn't hurt to live a little would it?

I smiled, looking at Alex. He was so concentrated on getting the bear, he had remained silent. I scoffed and walked to the ferris wheel.

Calvin sat inside and I sat beside him. I smiled as a greeting, I was a bit nervous but his ocean eyes made it easy to relax.

"Hey you," he started. "Hey," I blankly stated. "Sorry for taking you away for the ring," He gave me his dimpled smile. I was a melted at his accent, I  had to admit it was quite sexy.

"And Alex was about to get the shot too," I said trying to not lose it, "Sure he was,". We both started to laugh, as the atmosphere became easier to bare. He sported a grey tee shirt and jeans, that fitted perfectly. "So what's the big idea in kidnapping me?" I asked, raising my brow. He chuckled, "Since I've met you, those beautiful eye has haunted my dreams,". I was a bit melted that him would say that, because most guys don't come out right like that with their feelings.

"So thus the kidnapping?" I laughed. "Well I do need to ask you out properly don't I?" Calvin spoke in a daring tone. I had to admit I was having fun, being on tip of the city with a guy that's not Alexander.

"I guess but you still haven't yet," I challenged back. Honestly if he asked I may decli-. "Would you like to go out with me Remedy?"

I didn't mean to be rude but I really liked Alec if that's even possible. In a weird, figuratively but happy way I did like Alec but piece of my heart wanted to go out with me. But there was something about Calvin I just couldn't put my finger on.

The ferris wheel slowly came to the ground and made a sudden stop. Calvin climbed off and held his hand out to help me off. I smiled, but my face when blank as I saw an angry pissed looking Alex standing there.

I was scared, he had an emotion on his face that was passed mad. He had murder in his eyes and they were set. Calvin.

Before I could say anything.

Alex punched Calvin and I grasped as I saw the blood, heard the snap and Alex continue to pound into Calvin's face.
