A Greek God's Treasure

Chapter 5

 We had arrived back at the house. Castro was sitting around the island eating cupcake. Hennessy sporting an apron and making more cookies,I guess for Castro here. 

"Hello all you happy people," I chirped, feeling a bit excited. Castro mumbled something and Henny gave me a charismatic smile. Alec had went to bring in my bags. I grabbed a cupcake from Castro's grasp and shoved it in my mouth. 

"V," He whined at Vodka. I raised a brow at the sudden nickname. I winked at her and she became flush. 

I guess it was time for her to get some action but not with the boss best friend. Well who am I to judge I was about to kiss her brother an hour ago, I thought. 

"Here, another one," Hennessy smiled and handed him a vanilla cupcake. "You know me so well,"Castro winked at her. I was at the point of puking when Alec walked in. 

"I smell cupca-"He stopped mid-sentence and looked at Castro,"What are you doing here bro," he asked in a bit of a serious tone. I was a bit scared he would punch him if he knew he was rooting for his sister. "I came to drop of the paper the Bennett House employee exchange thing and I saw Hennessy here was baking cupcake and you know I love her cookies," He nods not sure if it a lie or not but accepts it.

Hennessy release a breath she had in suspense. I looked at her unsure if I was the only one who heard turned out I was.

"So what were you guys doing," Hennessy asked," I tried calling both of your cells and it went start to voicemail," 

"We were out,"

"At grandpa's" Alec and I replied unison. We both looked at each other, I became flushed and he smirked.

"We were out at her grandfather's," Alec did the cover up. Hennessy simply nodded. I shrugged and announce my depart to me room. 

I fell onto my bed,a bit tired from today's activities and it's not even sunset. A soft knock gestured on my door. "Go away I don't want to talk to anyone,"

"Not even me?" A husky voice replied, knowing it's Alexander. A smile crept on my face "Especially you,"

"Now am wounded, listen I have some paper work I need help with,are you up for the task?" He asked, the door was pushed open and his tall, lean figure darken the doorway. He had the papers in hand. I raised a brow "what made you think I would say yes buster?"

"No one can say no to this," He said lifting his shirt a bit and wriggling his brow. "Well, there a first time for everything,"  I said pushing him out. He groaned and I grinned at him. He turned around looking down at me. I suddenly realize he is about a couple of inches taller than me, and trust me from a girl that play basketball in high school he's tall.

His piercing green eyes held a dark shade, but not the scary type more like the inviting type. He looked deep into my eyes as if he was looking at my soul. My mouth went dry and my tongue slide over my lips, looking at him edible lips so inviting. I was on my tippy toes trying to reach him slowly leaning in. 

All I could think about was how his lips would feel on mine. Just a few inches away. He had to open his mouth "See I told you no one say no to me," 

I stopped abruptly and frowned. I simply stepped back and slammed the door leaving him to the poorly lit hallway.
