"Hosuh, will you be my boyfriend?"
I felt my cheeks get hot, and my heart rate started going faster. "I..." I start, and that when I hear keys jingle in the living room. "My mom's home!" I say nervously, and we head into the living room. My mom walks in the door, and she looks at us surprisingly. "Oh! Hey guys, uhm, you look really tired." She said. "It's a long story.." Stephen says, looking at me. She looks at us quizzically, but then turns to the kitchen. "Hm, I'm making bulgogi and bibimbap for dinner." (a/n: bulgogi is grilled marinated beef, and bibimbap is a rice dish with mixed ingredients. these are popular food choices in Korea!) "Mmm, Hosuh, these are my favorite!" Stephen says. "Mine too!" I say, grinning. My mom laughs a bit, and starts getting ready to cook. "You guys, leave me be while I cook!" My mom says, and Stephen laughs.

  I decide to take Stephen to a place I love going to, other than the cafe we always go to. It's a park that's very close to my house. There is a big tree in the middle of the park that I always go to when I'm sad. I usually draw, or read books there. It's very peaceful. I take Stephen by the wrist, and lead him to the tree. I plop down, and he follows. He looks at me, and grins. "So," He says, "About the question I asked in your room.." "My answer is yes.." I say, looking him in the eye. He smiles so wide, and hugs me. I smile, and he hugs me tighter. "I.. love you, Hosuh." He stutters, and I can hear him smile through it. "I love you too, Stephen." I say, kissing his cheek. He's so adorable. "Hey Stephen?" I say. "Yeah?"
"Let's go home."
