Chapter 11

Andreas P.O.V.

I check the time, yet again tapping my feet against the grass. Luke and I were supposed to meet up here at the park, and hour ago. I sigh and sit down watching the sun set. I hope he is okay, if he is late he'd usually text me. In the dark, I see a silhouette coming towards me, and I get up wiping the grass off my jeans.

"Finally," I say to him "what took you so long" I ask frowing a bit. I stare at Luke, but he doesn't answer. He has a worried expression plastered onto his pale face, and I can tell something is wrong.

"Whats wrong, are you okay" I question looking him in the eye. He nods quickly and looks at the time. 

"Look, how about we go somewhere else?" He asks me and I shrug. We make our way to his car, and the ride is silent. I notice Luke is gripping tightly to the stearing wheel. 

He finally stops the car, at a dark alley and confusion washes over me. 

"Luke w-what are we doing here" I demand fumbling over my words.

"I am sorry Andrea. I really am." He states to me and with that he grabs a black bag from the side of his car, and puts it over my head. He tightens it and I start kicking and screaming.

"Stop it!" He shouts at me "If you resist they will hurt you even more." He states and his voice starts cracking.

I have no idea what is going on, but something clearly is not right. Luke drags me to some corner in the alley, and knocks on a door. I stay quiet, out of complete fear.

"There, shes right here, I followed the instructions" I hear him whisper to the someone.

"Good job Luke. Here is your money. Have a splendid night." A voice I will never forget replies. A voice that has brought terror upon me. A voice I hate. The voice that talked to me through the tinted windows as I was being experimented. I was never aloud to meet the womans whos voice it belonged too. Now, Luke was about to hand me to her? Why?

I hear Luke walking away and I start crying.

"Luke!" I shout after him "you can not do this to me. You cant just leave me in their hands!" I scream at him, insanity filling my voice.

"Now, now, honey calm down. No need to beat yourself over this." The woman says and anger fills me up every time a sound came out of her mouth.

A man drags me to a room, and sits me on a chair. My arms are firmly locked to the chair, and so are my feet. Finally, the man takes the black bag off my head, and a bright light causes my eyes to instantly close. After getting used to the bright lighting I look around. I am in a room I had been in many times. Three walls, painted white, and one wall with a tinted window, so they can watch me through it.

"We are glad to have you back. Andrea." The woman says through the speakers.

"Please, just let me go, what do you want from me?" I beg, and tears start streaming down my face.

"There was a possibility of letting you go. But you do not deserve to be let go now. You have run away from us. Silly girl, did you really think you could get away from us?" She asks through a laugh. I spit on their floor, trying to make some kind of statment but it clearly doesnt work, since the only reaction I get is even more laughter.

"What did you do to Luke to make him hand me over?" I ask, its obvious Luke would never do that to me unless he was forced.

" Nothing. He doesn't love you Andrea. Nobody ever will. He was forced to date you after that picture of you two kissing went viral. He only ever cared about his image, not you." She states in an ice cold voice.

My heart drops and I take in a deep breath. I was in love with Luke, and all of this was just an act? I start crying yet again. Betrayal. Everyone does this to me. First Melanie, then Luke. Maybe its better if I stay here with them, then the outisde world. Maybe they are right, maybe they are  just trying to protect me. I start rocking my body back and forth on the chair humming the tune to amnesia. I hear them through the microphone laughing. Like their plan to driving me insane had worked. Maybe it is better this way.
