A/N: sorry, just realized I didn't update in 10 days what.

"What do you mean he was involved in all of this?" I blurt out, not sure it I should believe her or not.

"He was part of the experiment. He was working with those people, he did horrible things to the people who participated before you. Once your dad came to his senses, he wanted to leave, just because he realized that they were probably going to go against him, and try to harm him. Basically, when he told them he was done, they thought he'd be a nark, so they started problems and stuff. They were going to tell the police on him for things he did since in the end, he was the person who came up with it. The only way they were gonna let him go, is if he got you to participate.... I honestly don't know why, but they've wanted you from the start" She explained to me, as my head exploded with questions.

"So you're saying, my dad knew all the things they would've done to me yet still gave me to them?" I ask anger building up in my chest.

"Yep. It's not a coincidence you saw that poster the other day," she states "every person that took part of the experiment was there for a reason, and I don't know why." She adds shaking her head in confusion.

"And exactly why should we believe you out of all people?" Jen says, finally speaking up.

"Because, even though I did some stupid things, I wouldn't come up with this from the back of my head!" She replies rolling her eyes. "Plus, always remember everything happens for a reason" she declares, looking me in the eye.

After about half an hour, Melanie keeps showing us proof of what she had told us was legitimate on her computer. She showed us images, of people who had died because of the extents of the experiment. These were psychological tests, pushing people to their breaking point. Mentally, physically, in any way you could think of. It's like they were trying to find who could be the strongest human being in all ways possible. It's like, it was just a game to them. But why would they pick me to be a part of their game?

"Do you think they are planning something to get me?" I ask my voice cracking, from fear.

"Yes, they are. For all you know, they could be in this hotel right now, outside this bedroom door listening to our conversation." She calmly replies, raising one of her eyebrows as she types information into her computer. I hear a knock on the door, and we all look at each other in surprise. I get up, and make my way to the door. I look through the hole, and see Luke and Calum awkwardly standing there. I open the door and smile at both them as they make their way into the room.

"Hey Luke, this is Melanie. Melanie, this is Luke." I introduce, not sure If Luke remembered her or not, also not sure if I had forgiven her yet or not.

"Hi, nice to meet you." He awkwardly says nodding his head.

She raises her eyebrows in response her eyes locked to the computer screen, not paying attention to any of us at all. She's changed a lot, in a matter of 5 months.

Luke and I went for a walk, and decided to go to our old school park, where we used to always hang out. I run to one of the swings, and smile as the wind pushes against me as I swing in a slow rythm. Luke joins me in the seat next to me and we smile at eachother.

"What's wrong Andrea? I can tell something's bothering you." Luke speaks up looking at me. I shrug in response and take in a deep breath.

"Is it the fans? Are they bothering you?" He asks me, furrowing his eyebrows.

"No, don't worry it's not," I say giving him a reassuring smile. "I'm just really stressed, because I found out my dad was involved in all the whole experiment thing, and it's just really bothering me. It's a relief, to know more facts, but I want to have more answers now." I explain to him, deciding to be completely honest.

He leans in, and slowly places a kiss on my lips. Our lips move in perfect sync and I smile. Whenever I kiss him, I forget about all my worries. He pulls away, his hands still on my cheeks as he looks me in the eye.

"Sometimes, people have to do things they are forced to do," he speaks up and pauses, not breaking our eye contact. "All you can do, is assume the best." He finishes. We go to the grass and he interlocks our fingers.

"Kicking back at the old school yard" he quietly sings. I smile at him and lay my head on his lap.

"I would never do anything to hurt you, without having a choice. Remember that." He says to me sincerely, and pulls me into a hug.
