Snowball fight

Omari's P.O.V

The weather was colder, and the winds blew left and right. Unfortunately Arizona didnt have snow, at least not in Phoenix ...

I was in my little suburb house chilling with my mother while Chanice was outside talking to  her boyfriend whom we nicknamed "Fizz".

My mom and I were watching Django today,   (Friday). That next week winter break was approaching,  and I was excited to see what I would be doing during that time period. Of course my mom knew what I wanted,  but she didnt guarantee it would happen. "Omari I know you want to go back and see William, but I want you to go to Utah with Keith's family." (Keith was my mom's boyfriend that she loved so much). But if she loved him like I loved Will, she would understand that I wanted to see him as soon as possible. I scooted closer to my mom. "But mom, you see, I love Will. He's like my other half." She looked at me assuringly. "Well Mari , I hope you mean it. Do you really understand that if you go, you might not wanna come back?" She said the difficulty as brief as can be. That was the problem. If I had visited, it may become more of a stay, and my mom wanted me here to live with her for a while. This was more conflicting than I thought because I was sure my mom was okay with letting stay if I wanted. "Mama, trust me, if I wanted to stay back there, I would let you know. I wouldnt be all lowkey about it". She kissed me on my forehead and hugged me. "I hope so Omari, please follow through with your word."

Gabe's P.O.V

The crew and I were walking to Chelle's house to do some dirty work, and then to have fun. If you haven't noticed, everywhere was covered in snow, and our walk was difficult because we had to shovel our feet through it. Which brings me to the dirty work. Omari's aunt asked us a favor of shoveling her driveway every now and then this December.  She did offer money for all of us , and we would receive It before of our deed. Now me, hearing about this money opportunity, I tried to keep it to myself, but she called Will, and Mr. Modest here told the others. "Can someone carry me?" Cole asked sounding exhausted. Will rolled his eyes. "You know Cole, if you cant handle this, then how will you handle the shoveling we're about to do?" I agreed with Cole. "Will, you have the biggest steps ever, please don't act like such a meany. " The rest of our walk, we debated on if Will had an advantage or not. If you ask me, hes the luckiest Asian I know.

Chelle opened the door, and but Dana ran and greeted us first. "Hey yo Gabe!!" I jumped too him and we did our handshake that we did when we aint seen each other in a minute. Omari's aunt must have heard the noise, because she trickled down the stairs to greet us. "Hey boys, here, im paying you each 18 dollars to get that yard driveway in shape". I looked at my cash, then I looked at the outside. Her driveway was massive, and I realized why she needed 4 boys to clear it up. "Will and I got the front!" David snapped quickly.  I wanted to choke him because that was the easiest part. I looked down at the back. "I guess Cole and I got that duty." Dana walked outside and balls up his fist and put it to his mouth. "Bruhh yall good or nah? That's freaking massive!" He started to laugh but resigned his help then patted my shoulder. "Nah Gabe you good. You're super strong right? Mr. Glorious!" I winced at him and grabbed a shovel then I went outside. I was a little livid about the little thing Dana just did.

Dana's P.O.V

Ade was coming over in 15 minutes to chill and tell me about this girl he met at Burbank yesterday. He hasn't given me much detail, but when he saved news like that to wait until he told me in person, that meant it was good. Chelle and I were in the living room watching some Christmas movie. There I peeked out the window to see how much progress the boys were working.  I decided to support them positively and scream this harmless motivation saying. "Put your back in it ladies!! I see no progress!!" They groaned, but I just took that as some positive feedback. Man did I love the way I encouraged people.

Gabe and the others were halfway done when Ade came to the house with another girl. "Yo wassup fam!!" Ade came in and we did our handshake. The girl standing next to him was quiet, but was quite impressed with our handshake.  I walked up to her and smiled. 'And you are sweetheart?" She looked down and shook my hand. "Its Tea". I complimented her name and we all sat down. Tea was very pretty, her hair was super long and she had the prettiest of eyes. I tried to get Chelle to greet her but she shrugged it off and continued to watch the movie. While Ade was cuddling with Tea, I asked them a little more on how this all happened so sudden. "Well, after the game, we had got to mingle for a second right?" I nodded quickly for approval. "Well while mingling,  we kept bumping into each other but never talking. We stared at eachother for a while until I had the guts to speak up. When I met Tea, her calm outgoing nature struck me. I knew she would be a great girlfriend, so before we got into the car, Tea gave me her number. We were just on a date actually." Tea blushed and Ade wrapped his arms around her tighter.  "Whats wrong with your girlfriend, ?" Tea inquired. I could tell she was feeling uneasy because Chelle didnt acknowledge her at all. "I can only guess, but she's very nice once you get to know her, its just that, this is one of her bad days." Tea  smiled at me and we all finished the movie.

Tea's P.O.V

I dont even know who's house I was at, but on the way here, Ade explained plenty of information to keep me posted. But the problem was, I didnt know who Omari was, and what Dana did and all that good jazz. But I went on with it, smiled and gave my best attitude to everyone. I liked being around a lot of fun people.

Ade's P.O.V

Tea was so beautiful man. I know as of now I had a good girlfriend.  Hopefully we last, because I want her to meet Omari and eventually talk to "Mrs. Attitude" on the other side of the couch.  I believe I introduced her to everyone,  including the crew outside, so I guess she was good to go on everyone.  Gabe walked back into the house. "My man, we are done! !" Will came trailing behind him, then Cole then David. "Lets go outside to the park man!! I wanna have some winter frolic!" David called out spinning ever so gracefully. Cole answered back. "But im tired" We all stared at Cole for 10 seconds. He knew that meant to "suck it up". We put on our jackets and shoes and headed outside for the park.

Will's P.O.V

All this fun in the snow made me think of Omari. She was in Arizona with her family and my heart missed her so much. If only she were here to enjoy it with me...

Gabe split all of us into two teams. It was four against four since it was perfectly 8 of us. I was on the team of Cole, Tea, and Chelle. The the other team was Gabe, Ade, David, and Dana. To be honest, they have Ade, and thats cheating because he is really good. The object of the game was if you get hit twice, you're out. I was a little angry at myself because I was out first. I was super tall so I couldn't duck like the others. The game ended with two left standing. Tea on our team, and Ade on the other. Their stealth and agility was so intense, that I needed popcorn to fairly enjoy it.

The game was a tie because both hit each other with two snowballs. At the end, Ade picked Tea up and body slammed her into the snow.  We all joined in as a dog pile, and let me tell you this,  it hurt like crazy. Ade and Tea went back home after the fun ended.  I went home too, along with Cole Gabe and David. Chelle went back into her house but Dana didnt follow her back. I actually thought I seen him with Ade in his car,  but what do I know? My Asian eyes are so tiny.

Chelle's P.O.V

I dont know what terms Dana and I are on right now,  but I figure it out later. Oh, and Tea seems cool. Shes pretty and outgoing like I am on my good days. Im pretty sure she'd really like Omari because they act almost the same way. Which reminds me, I should call Omari and tell her about Ade's new girlfriend.  She reminded me soo much of Omari it was scary.

I curled in my bed and dialed Omari's number and crossed my fingers for her to pick up. "Hello Chelle" she said casually. "Why you calling?" I curled my toes and wrapped myself up in the blankets.  "Well Omari,  Ade has a new girlfriend and.." She sighed and hung up before I could even say Tea's name. I dont know why she would just cut me off like that, but I guess telling her about other people's business irritated her soul. I tried to call again but I got voicemail. If anybody wanted to know why I was so mad, the answer would be, "My own bestfriend wont even talk to me and I miss her". Yup, I would put it just like that.
