The New Begining. (Gxg)

Chapter 4

"Ok! Let's see. The kids mentioned their dad. Is he actually in their lives or not and how long have you been married?"Aslin asked.

"13 years we were married. But he's no longer with us. He.... He um died in a car wreck. Which is why Zadie needs your help." Arabella said sadly.

" Oh! That's what has triggered her sleepless nights and nightmares ." Aslin said

Arabella sat in her seat looking down at her lap playing with her fingers. She has been quiet for a while.

Arabella broke the silence.

" See we were all in the car when we weren't but Zadie was there one to come to first. She got out and tried to get us all but me and her father were too big for her. But she did get Zoe out. Then she flagged down s car for help. She saw the whole thing. Seeing her dad dead, me almost dead and Zoe as well. She heard then talking about us and what they said was horrible. She didn't think we were going to make it but her dad was dead on impact..... So now she had these terrible night terrors. She relives her trying to help us and her Dad." I told Aslin.

"Oh! I'm So sorry about your loss, and that's a lot for a child her age to deal with." Aslin said.

"Yeah! She is strong though. When she has her nightmares Zoe and I climb in bed with her and hold her all night. Like we did last night." I told Aslin.

"Wow! That's actually really sweet. You make her feel loved and comfortable. She has an amazing support group." Aslin said, smiling. This mother is a good mother. After what her and her children have been through she is amazing with them.  They make such a cute family. Even when they are sad.

Just then Aslin looks up and sees you crying.

"You're a wonderful mom" Aslin said as she placed her hand on your face making you look up at her. Aslin smiles at you as she wipes away your tears. "The children are well adjusted even with the trauma they have been through." Aslin pulls you in for a hug." You're a wonderful woman and mother with two beautiful daughters." Aslin is still holding you softy .

Your mind drifts off thinking ...omg I can get use to this. I wrap my head around her ." Thanks that means a lot." I said as I held on to her. We stayed like that for a few mins which felt longer. As she broke away from the hug she looked at me and smiled. Brushing some of my hair from my face.

"So next question..." As she looks down at her list." Well looks like we have almost covered them all but one." She hesitated but looked up at me." Is there another person in the girl's life like umm... Are you dating someone or planning on it? If so I'll need to get their information and know more about them too. I just need a feel for their everyday life and who is in it and what is in their surroundings." Aslin said looking at me with a more serious look.

"Um.. no.. it's been a year and a half ago, but I was thinking maybe. Now that we have moved here and my family is closer and can help with the girls more. Maybe..... Ugh I don't know.." I face plant my face in my hands.

Aslin reaches over places her hand on mine. "Maybe, who knows?" Aslin said with a beautiful smile.

"But the only people who will have anything to do with them in their life will me my mother, father, my sister, me and you and school of course." I said.

" Now that that part is done, I just have some simple questions. Some not on my list. I will ask while I drink my tea. Then I will go." Aslin said, smiling.

" Yeah sure, but you don't have to rush off. " I said blushing.

Aslin smiles back at me as she takes a drink of her tea. " So what do the girls like to do? Or do you all do alot together?" She asked.

"Zadie likes to paint but she hasn't done much but she isn't trying your lately but she said she is blocked and Zoe is a singer. She Loves to sing. We used to do karaoke on Friday nights when... He was still here and took Zadie to the park to paint. I haven't been able to do that with them alone." Arabella said.

"Wow you are a supportive mother. Great .... Sorry that you haven't been able to take them alone, but if you can't do  something alone with them and you want to, you can always give me a call. I'd be glad to go with my help with Zadie's healing." Aslin said, smiling.

" Wow really. You would do that for us? I can say I might take up a lot of your time... I  mean we.. um..zad... Uh you know what I meant. '' I said blushing.

There she goes again blushing. Showing off that gorgeous smile making her emerald eyes sparkle. And the way her beautiful blonde hair lays so perfect. I think I better slow down and test the waters first, but wow she is just so beautiful. I could just .... Omg Aslin.. slow down. I drag myself from my thoughts as I look at Arabella. "Ok , well I think I should be going but hey I am free tomorrow and the fair is in town. Do you or would you want to go with me and take the girls? I mean I won't be working so I'll be all yours.....umm.. I mean I'll be... Umm off the clock. Free.. off the clock,  just hang out.... Talk more ?" Aslin said as she blushes more then she has all night. And a smile that shows off her perfect teeth.

" Yes! " I said, sounding a bit over excited. I calm myself down. As I smile at her." Sounds lovely, what time shall we be ready?" I said as my mind started racing... Is this a date? What am I going to wear? Does she even like me like that? Does this mean I like women? Wow !

" The fair is open all day. It's the weekend so how about we leave at 3 till whenever you get ready to go. Make a whole day of it?" Aslin said, smiling.

" Sounds great, I can't wait to tell the girls. They will be excited." I said with excitement in my voice.
