MY NOT SO PERFECT PERFECT LIFE

Chapter three

    I drove to school the next day with one mission to accomplish and that is finding a girl to distract me for a while, to get my head off Cia. I once wanted to drive my siz to school  so i could just  see her. "Have you seen her again? "Arthur asked as we walked to class. "Seen who? "I asked knowing very well what he was talking about. "What's her name again! Mmm  Kate! Yes Kate! ""Nop, and why would I want to see her again? "I asked my face emotionless . "we all know you are crushing on her, "they both said. "You two are idiots I don't like her, you can't like someone that first right? ""Let see if I see her next time and make a move on her, you won't mind? "Arthur challenged, "have fun man she all yours. "I said and walked away kicking my big ego for not just giving up and admit I like her too much than I expected.

"Hey, babe, "said Ashley pecking my lips. "Hey, what's up? "I asked her. "Don't tell me you forget your promise? Oh no you did, didn't you? "She asked accusingly. "What did I forget? "I inquired innocently. "Our date, duh, "she said. "Its four days from now don't worry about it, "I assured her. She hugged me and my eyes met a pair of hazel ones, the moment she spotted Ash she walked away and I quickly pulled from the hug. "So what will we do then? "Ash asked giving me that plastic smile of hers. "Whatever you  want I gotta go, "I said and scurried in the direction Kate went.

"Dyl where the hell are you going? Our class is this way, "shouted Arnold. "I... thought  I saw...." "who? "He asked approaching me, "oh God, " I whispered caressing the back of my neck. "Come on we need to talk, "he said pulling me out of the school gate. "what's up with you lately man? "He asked as we settled in my car. "I don't know man, its just that I can't stop thinking about.... Look Ash is really getting into my nerves and I can't deal with her anymore.

"Have you heard? ""What? ""We have new students in school but they are starting tomorrow. ""Boys or girls? "I asked. "You idiot when did you start caring about male students? "He winked "You are an ass, "I told him, "yeah an ass who is so much in love with your siz, "he smirked. "About that, I think it's time you tell her or try to talk to her and remember don't dare hurt her. "I warned. "And to you dear best friend, whoever you are thinking about or you have been thinking about lately, you should figure yourself out before you lose her or get hurt bro. "He said and with that we walked back in school.

I spent my day staring at nothing in particular. I was bored to the bone. Ash had not left me alone since morning and  I was tired of her already, thank God I'm was in my last lesson of the day, only ten minutes and I would be going home. As soon as the bell went off I run to my car and drove off

"Christmas comes early, what r you doing home early? "My sister asked, "well am I not allowed in my parents house early anymore?""it's not like that Dylan, I'm not used to seeing you home at this time, r u ok? "She asked looking concerned, "I'm just tired, I'll go rest for a while don't worry about me, "I kissed her forehead and jogged off to my room.

All I wanted at the moment was to see her or even hear her voice but I couldn't bring myself to ask Annie for her phone number. What are you doing to me Cia?  I knew she wasn't living with her father anymore but with her mom. After her mom's wedding a few weeks ago, she had been given full custody of her daughter whom was driving me crazy and there is nothing I can do about it.

"Mom can I skip school tomorrow I'm not really feeling well and I need sometime alone. "I asked her after dinner and they all turned to face me. "Honey I know you r going through a lot lately bt you need to drive your sister to school, ""but why mom? "I whined. ""Because her best friend was transfered to your school and I don't want my daughter feeling left out. "My eyes widened on the information but I covered it quickly. "Yeah ok. "I said taking my plate to the sink.

I didn't want to ask too many questions about Kate moving to my school coz I didn't want them to start adding sums that couldn't be wrong but hey why risk it? I kissed   them goodnight and went to bed. I was happy she will be close to me now but I was afraid that I could lose her to some idiots in school or she could get her but I wasn't gonna let that happen.

The only question I had no answer to was where she was staying now. Even mentioning her name caused such pain and longing in my heart. I don't even know when I started spending most of my time thinking about her but I am and it's already eating on me. I scrolled through my phone to find ten messages and fifteen missed calls all from Ashley, this girl will kill me u don't even know why I got involved with her in the first place. I didn't bother to reply or call back coz it would only make her send more

Annie was ready when I went down for breakfast the following morning. She had on a red lace tank top, white skinny jeans, a white leather jacket completed by red knee boots, her hair was tightly held in a high pony tail, she looked gorgeous. "You look too gorgeous for your first day in school siz, "I teased  sitting down for breakfast. "I could say the same thing about you but then when don't you look hot when you go to school? ""Aww, I had to dress extra hot to take my angel to school on her first day. "I smiled down at her

"Dyl you can dress up all u want but the fact is that you r not ok, something is bothering you and you r trying to hide it from me, "she stood and walked away. "I'll be in the car. "She added
