I followed her and sat as she cut meat into small pieces. I took a glimpse of what she had put on the cooker. "Thanks for the hash, it was really delicious, "I said as she walked me to the door. "R u kidding, I'm supposed to be thanking you right now coz if you hadn't come in I would be bored to the bone. I find my mom in the kitchen preparing dinner, that's odd, my mom never came home early but she seemed happy so I let it go. "How is my favorite lady doing?" I asked kissing her forehead.

My mom is not the old fashioned lady type, at thirty she had brought herself a house and everything she needed in it. We don't mention my little brother alot coz it hurts her to know she will never see him again so we keep him out of any conversation we have.

Everything around me looked brighter, even the slightest things made me smile and all I could do is stare at her picture. Don't ask Mr how I got it. Her number was saved with three cute emoji on her name.
