Chapter 32

Quinn's POV

Nick and his two buddies drop their duffel bags at the bottom of the staircase. Nick is wearing a dark red shirt long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up past his elbows, what look like a homemade bracelet on his left wrist, his black belt around his waist holding up the pair of dark washed and faded blue jeans, and the usual black boots. "I can't believe that you actually came tonight." I say to him closing the front door as the three of them look around the house, "He is only here because he has this thing for some girl." The guy from the book store says turning his attention to me, "Quinn, this is Reed Scott." Nick points to the guy that I have already met once before.

Reed Scott is wearing a faded brown leather jacket, simple black tee under the jacket, a special looking antique necklace around his neck, what look like a pair of comfortable blue jeans, and brown leather boots. "I remember this lovely young lady from the bookstore, but it is nice to officially meet the girl that has managed to tame the heart of my best friend." Nick punches Reed in his arm growling at him, "And this is Chaz Donovan, he is another one of my friends." I turn my attention to Chaz who I am meeting for the first time.

Chaz looks to be in his twenties and around the same height as Nick and Reed, he has thick blonde hair that seems to sweep to one side of this face with a few pieces falling over his forehead and blue eyes that kind of reminds me of Nick's blue eyes. Chaz is wearing a black and blue light weight checkered shirt, black tank top with a gold necklace around his neck, pair of black sweatpants, and black sneakers with dark blue laces. Without saying a word Chaz takes my hand raising it to his lips and he places a gentle kiss on my hand before letting it go, 

"Where is everyone else?" Nick asks and I feel that he uncomfortable for some reason,"Everyone is in the living room, we are just starting a new movie." As those words leave my lips the sound of dance music starts blaring through the house."I guess Tiffany got a hold of the entertainment center." I say leading the three of them into the living room, "What happened to our movie fest?" I ask seeing Tiffany and Chris plugging her phone into the speakers while the other two just sit there, "Who are they?" Tiffany asks getting the attention of everyone else in the room.

"This Nick, that is Reed, and Chaz." I say pointing to each of them, "Guys that Chris, Emery, Anthony, Tiffany, and Clay." I introduce everyone to everyone as I get back on my original question, "I thought we were watching movies?"Tiffany rolls her eyes and waves me off, "We can take a little break from the cinema from time to time, this is party after all, and what is a party without a little bit of music and dancing." Tiffany says as she hits a button her phone,"And we have the best DJ in the world." She points at Chris who finishes what he was doing and seconds later the song 'Disturbia by Rihanna' starts blasting out of the speakers,

"You know that this is our song." Tiffany smiles at me as she walks over to Clay grabbing his hands pulling them off the couch, "I am not the dancing type babe." Clay says sitting back on the couch making Tiffany give him an annoyed look. "Fine,then I guess you won't mind if I dance with someone else." Tiffany grabs the hand of Anthony, "Dance with me?" Anthony shrugs his shoulder as he stands up and starts dancing with Tiffany. "I am going to give the newcomers a tour."Chris says in my ear before walking up to Nick and his two friends and starts giving them a tour of the house.

I walk up to Emery giving him my best pouty face, and from the look on his face he already knows what I am going to ask him, "You don't even have to ask." He says standing off the couch and starts dancing with me. Emery quickly spins me around and pulls me to him with my back is facing him as our bodies move in sync with music and with each other, I leans against him running my fingers through my hair and I feel his lips slowly turn into a large smile going from ear to the other. He runs his hands down the length of my body stopping his hands and keeping them on my hips, and I soon get the feeling of his Emery's eyes exploring my body while I moves my hips and his hands in circles and side to side.

I return the favor by running my hands up Emery until I reach his neck, once I wrap my arms around his neck I pull down to me bringing him closer, but everything takes a turn as Chris and the guys enter the room and Nick storms over to Emery and I. Nick lightly pushes me onto the couch before sucker punching Emery right in the jaw. "Nick, what the hell?" I ask but before I can move Anthony steps in front of me putting himself between the fight that has broken out and myself. "NICK!" Reed yells loudly as Chaz and he rush over to the fight. Chaz grabs Nick's arm pulling him away while Reed is now between Nick and Emery who now makes it back to his feet.

Nick pushes Chaz away from him and I see that his blue eyes have almost completely darkened. "WALK AWAY AND COOL OFF!" Reed roars getting into the face of Nick."YOU WANT TO FIGHT?" Emery yells taking off his shirt before pushing Reed and Chaz out of his way. Emery punches Nick directly in the face making Nick fall to the ground, "Lets fight then." Nick looks up at Emery with a smile as he takes his hand and wipes his lip that has been busted open. After seeing that his lips has been busted open Nick quickly tackles Emery sending both of them crashing into the wall then onto the floor as Nick hammers away on Emery throwing haymakers as hard as he can, Emery covers himself up moving around on the ground until he blocks one haymaker and manages to kick Nick away who stumbles a little bit over the small set of steps.

Emery stands back up and kicks Nick in his stomach sending Nick onto the tiled kitchen floor, Emery gets on top of Nick and starts going to town on him throwing lefts and rights at any exposed part of Nick's body, and my fear raises to a whole new level as Emery grabs Nick by his neck and it looks like he is going to slam it onto the ground, but Nick grabs the front of Emery's pants pulling him forward and sending Emery face first into the kitchen table. Emery falls off Nick as Nick gets back to his feet, "NICK THAT IS ENOUGH!" I hear Reed yell as he pulls Nick away from Emery, and right behind Reed is Chris who grabs Emery who I can't believe isn't seriously hurt let alone making it back to his feet under his own power. 

"GET THE HELL OFF OF ME!" Roars Nick as he shoves Reed away from him. Nick look at Emery then to me and before me or anyone can say anything more to him Nick storms off into another room. I push everyone out of my way but before I get too far I feel someone grab my hand and I turn to see that it is Chaz, "It is best to let him cool off first." I pull my hand away from Chaz knowing that him and Reed know Nick better than me, but I can't help the connection that I also feel around him. "I don't think he would ever hurt me, but if it gets out of hand I will scream." I say rushing off to find Nick while everyone else helped Emery.
