Chapter 6

The day after thanksgiving

Gladion's POV
I seriously want to tell (Y/N) how I feel about her. But it has to be done at the right day and time.
I'm thinking of confessing to her on Christmas by giving her a neckelse and asking her to be my girlfriend.

I already bought the neckelse.
I wonder if (Y/N) still has a crush on me or not? God I hope so or else I would be crushed.
It's Black Friday today and (Y/N) is out shopping with her sister.

(Y/N)'s POV
I'm currently looking for Gladions Christmas present. I have no idea what i should get him because he told me, "I have no idea what I want for Christmas".
I sighed and said, "Urh! Why is shopping for Gladion so difficult?"
My sister looked at me and replied, "Just get him a ITunes gift card. That will make things easy."
"Okay I will. But what else should I get him?"
"(Y/N), what are his favorite things to do?"
"Watching tv and getting angry. Lol." , I replied.
"Then the iTunes card will work."
"Okay."
"I want to go to Forever24. You can either come or not." , my sister said.
"I'll wait for you outside." , I replied.

I texted Gladion: Waiting for my sister to shop. She's taking forever! 😣

No response for a while. I finally decided to walk around my favorite store, Hot Dophic.
I accidentally bumped into someone so I said, "I'm so sorry."
"It's no problem. The names Cecelia." , Cecelia said.
"(Y/N)." , I said.
"Let me guess. Your older sister went to Forever24?" , Cecelia asked.
"Yeah. How'd you know?"
"My older sister is there to."
"Only siblings would ditch there younger siblings and go shopping on there own!" , I said.
"It happens to me all the time." , Cecelia pauses then asks me, "What grade are you in?"
"I'm in 9th. Why?" , I replied.
"I'm in 10th."
That's how I made a new friend.

Gladion's POV

I replied to (Y/N)'s text an hour later: Sorry. It happens sometimes.

I saw (Y/N) walking with some girl I didn't know.
Great. She made a new friend already.
I could hear everything they were saying from my room. They're keeping nothing private that's for sure.
"Come on (Y/N) tell me who's the lucky guy you have a crush on?" , the girl named Cecelia asked.
"Im not even sure if he feels the same." , (Y/N) said.
"Any guy would be an idiot not to like you."
(Y/N) whispered the response in Cecelias ear.
Yes, I'm spying on my crush.

Oh no it looks like they caught me, I gotta go.
I started running back to my room as fast as I could, lucky me. I didn't get caught.

(Y/N)'s POV
I swear I thought I heard Gladion running.
Yes, I did.
"Gladion was just spying on us." , I said.
"Yeah I thought I heard it to." , Cecelia said.
"I have an idea on how to get him back."
"Spill the details!!!"
"I'll prank him while he's a sleep. I'll put his hands in a bucket of cold water."
"Genius!"

Later that night, I filled a bucket with cold water, icy cold. I made sure Gladion was sound to sleep first.
I moved both of his hands into the bucket, and to my surprise he didn't wake up.

Gladion's POV
I woke up the next morning, to my hands in freezing, icy, cold water.
I screamed, "(Y/N)! I'm so going to get you!"
I ran to her room, finding the door locked. She probably was expecting this reaction from me.
(Y/N) stood at the bottom on the stairs saying, "Looking for me Gladion?"
"I'm coming to get you!"
"Go on right ahead! Because I'm one step ahead of you!"
(Y/N) put on her jacket and started running towards the park.
I was 100 steps away from her.
(Y/N) said while running, "Come and get me! I know you want to."
"Quit running!"
"You'll have to get me first!"
"That's a challenge I'm accepting."
"Good luck." , (Y/N) said while smiling.
(Y/N) didn't keep it up to long though, it ended up with me hugging her.
She hugged me tightly and said, "You're a amazing hugger Gladion."
"Thank you." , I said.
