"Lolli Lolli Oh Lollipop! Lolli Lolli Oh Lolli Lollipop!"

Ugghh!!! Why did I forget to shut off my alarm clock last night??? I reached out and shut it off quickly and tried to get back to sleep but to no avail. Sigh. I'm just gonna go and take a shower and prepare breakfast.

"Nick!!!"

"What?!"

"What do you want to eat?"

"Just make anything. If it turns out bad, the bakery's open anyways!"

"Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence." I thought.

I went to kitchen and started preparing breakfast with whatever I could get. We need to go shopping. I ended up making toast with scrambled tofu. Oh did I mention we were all vegetarian? But yeah we are. Anyways, I think breakfast turned out pretty good! It was just me and Nick again. Dad was away at a seminar, Jake was working and Nina won't be home till next week.

After cleaning up, I was stuck with nothing to do. It was way too cold to go swimming and besides the pool is probably frozen. Yeah I know, we're a bit well-off but I would personally trade every single comfort I have for a nice, warm, and loving family. I just decided to take a walk in the park. No one hardly goes there this time of year as it's really cold but oh well. Being by myself is what I'm really used to.

As I got to the park, I headed straight for the pond. I had a secret spot there that was in between this bush and a tree. You could see everything that happens without anyone seeing you. I always came to this place when I'm happy, sad, or just needing a breather. I buried a box here with some of my deepest feelings since I was a kid. I remember sitting in that spot when I was younger and watching girls skipping rocks with their dads and moms and me crying and wishing my mom was here and my dad too.

As I got to my spot, I saw a guy about my age or probably a year older than me, sitting there. He seemed surprised to see me but that was quickly changed to a warm smile.

"Hey there! Um, hi! I, uh, um, was just sitting here."

I just stared at him.
