She just stood there staring at me.

"Um, hi! I was just, uh, sitting here." Wow. Am I really not gonna be able to form coherent sentences around her? Snap out of it Alex.

She kept blinking, as if she was imagining me. I chuckled mentally at that. She looked a little pale.

"Uh, are you ok? You look a little pale." I said. Because she did. Oh no, could it be because of me?

"Oh I'm ok! haha Uh, ho-ho how did you find this place?" Whew. I breathed out.

"Oh I found it while taking a walk a while ago. Do you want me to go?" I seriously hope not. I want to know more about this girl.

"Oh no! It's ok! It's just that no one really knows about this place. How did you find it?" Oh. Yup. I was definitely right. This is her place.

"I have a knack for finding places that no one really knows about." I said with a grin. Well, that's just partially true. But she doesn't know that now does she?

"Oh." Was all she said.

Then there was an awkward silence around us. She spoke first after about a minute or two.

"You seem to be new around here. Did you recently move here?"

"Yeah! We moved here recently from Australia. We moved in the house across the street from the Andersons. You heard of them?"

She looked surprise.

"We moved our stuff about a week ago. We just needed to move ourselves here." I told her.

"Cool! Welcome to Old Brooke then! I hope you like your house!" She said turning to leave.

"Wait, can I at least get your name and get you a drink?" Now that's better Alex, I said to myself.

"My name's Narsha, How about you?" Narsha. Narsha. A beautiful name.

"Alex. Just Alex." I said holding out my hand.

"You want to grab a drink right? Come I'll show you a good place." She said motioning for me to follow her.

We walked out of the park and into an area I have yet to explore. But I can't concentrate on my surroundings. All I can think about is the girl in front of me.

After about 30 mins or so, I heard her say "Here we are!" and held the door open for me. Weird. I'm the guy and she's the girl. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? Eh. I read the name of the place.

"Little Bean. It has a very nice ambiance." I murmured to myself as we got in. It was true though. A great feeling of warmth just kind of enveloped me when I got in here.

"Hey George and Lisa! How are you both doing? I haven't seen you in a while!" I heard Narsha say to two elderly people behind the counter. She was smiling so beautifully I can't help but stare at her, in a way that it wasn't that obvious that I was staring at her.

After chatting to George and Lisa for a while, we settled in one of the booths and ordered some hot cocoa and oatmeal cookies. She looked like she was in deep thought and I couldn't help the thought that passed through my mind at that moment. Captivating.

Our orders came so we paid and dug in.

"This is really good!!!" I sighed contently. I could seriously die happy right now. This cocoa was wonderful.

I saw her looking at me and she suddenly giggled. That was cute! But then her expression suddenly changed. I was worried that something was wrong.

"Are you ok? Do you feel unwell?"

"I'm great!!!! I was just thinking." Good.

We talked about each other. I told her about my family and she told me hers too. Then we talked about our hobbies and just stuff I guess. After a while, we bid goodbye to George and Lisa and just went walking around town. We started walking to the park when she saw the time and kinda panicked.

"Omg! I have to go home! It was really nice meeting you Alex!"

"I'll walk you home! If that's alright with you that is." I told her. Pls say it's ok. Pls say it's ok.

"Oh no it's ok really! I'll be fine thanks! Anyways, I have to go! Take Care Alex!" Awww...

"Alright! Take Care Narsha!" I told her as she took off running.

I started walking to Little Bean again and bought some sweets for my family. I looked at the booth where I was sitting not so long ago and couldn't help but smile.

I was smiling all the way home. When I got to the door, Nash happily attacked me.

"Yay! Food! Thanks 'lex!" He said grabbing the bag with the sweets in it and running to kitchen, calling Lisa, Josh, and Rian.

"Oh hey you're back! So, do you like Old Brooke?" My mom asked appearing from the top of the stairs.

"Yup! It's a great place mom!" I said with that big smile still stuck on my face.

"Why are you so happy?"

"Nothing." And with that I walked to kitchen, grabbed a cookie and headed up to my room.

I can't wait to meet Narsha again.
