"Here we are." My dad stated as we looked at our new house. We had just moved from California to Canada. My mom and dad said it was more "peaceful" over here. Whatever. I stared at my new house. Cool. I then looked around at the other houses. It was so quiet here. Almost as If no one lived in any of these houses. Its creepy here.
"I like it." My mom said examining the house.
"I don't" I bursted out.
"Stop being so difficult, Jennifer." My mom replied.
"We should start getting everything situated." My dad said. My dad called in some people that could help him move the furniture inside while mom and I decorated the place with paintings, flowers, etc.

It had been two hours now and all the workers my dad called in had just left. There was only one thing left to move. The fridge. Of course I helped because It's my homie you're dealing with.
"There." My dad said in relief as we finished putting the fridge in its place.
I patted it.
"There there my love." I whispered to my fridge. I'm a weirdo I know haha. My dad laughed.
"I'm gonna go look outside" I said. Over here we had nice scenery. We had a good view of an ocean nearby also. The houses had huge spaces in between other houses. It was nice and spacy. But, still it was pretty creepy. I sat on the chairs of our porch as I admired the view.
"Wow." I whispered to myself. I then heard someone stepping on rocks. I looked around to see if anyone was around. Finally, I found the person walking. He was walking up the steep road that led to these creepy houses. As he got closer, he started to notice me. I looked away not wanting conversation.
"Hey, Are you a new neighbor?" He asked as he came to a stop right in front of the house next door. I turned my head to look at him. Right now you could see his physical features better. His hair was in a comb over, his skin had a nice tan. He was tall, green-eyed, blonde and just full out sexy.
"Um yeah." I replied, smiling.
"Oh well... I'm Nolan. Nice to meet you." He smiled. Well, Nolan you are one hottie.
"I'm jennifer." I let out a chuckle.
"Beautiful name. I'll see you around." He waved and smiled as he walked up to the house next door. I waved back.

"Its good that we got all the moving over with" My dad stated as he ate.
"It's very quiet here. It's peaceful" My mom added.
I took a sip of my drink.
"I'd have to admit that its nice. But I'm done eating, I'm gonna take a look outside."
"Okay."
I got up from my chair and walked over to the sink. I washed the dishes that I used and walked outside. I found a tree log right on the side of my house, just chilling. It looked nice there, but then again what a way to get it ready for people moving into the house. I decided to lay on it and look at the gray skies. I sighed. I really don't want to be here. Life in California was great. But, it is beautiful here.
"Ugh why here" I whined as I moved my head to the side. Right when I did that, I saw a figure right across the street. He had his face in his arms, his arms rested on his legs, and he was sitting on the side of his house, where it was dark. This image was depressing. Also, creepy. He looked like one of those possessed girls in movies that sit like that. Then again, he also looked like he was just a sad boy. Out of nowhere, He quickly got up and wiped his eyes with his sleeve. He looked around to see me staring at him. He glanced at me then looked away as if it didn't happen. At that, he quickly walked into his house.
