It's been a few weeks since the incident with Mabus and I was finally allowed to go back to work. To be honest, I'm so glad since I was fed up of a limited counselling schedule and nothing else to do. As soon as I stepped on the bridge, the Captain turned to me and smiled.

"Welcome back Miss Roberts." She said.

"Thank you Captain, it's good to be back."

I walked to my chair, sat down and asked "So what do we have here?"

"A comet." Harry said.

"The thing is its trajectory is erratic, and our sensors aren't detecting any stellar or planetary gravitational fields that could account for its motion." Chakotay said.

"Then you're saying it isn't a comet." I said.

"And yet it looks, feels, and tastes just like a comet." He replied.

"Well, there's a slight chance that there are magnetodynamic forces acting on the comet that are too subtle for our sensors to detect. Or it might be something we've never encountered before. B'Elanna, go down to Transporter room two. Let's beam aboard a sample for examination." The Captain said.

"Aye Captain." She said before leaving the bridge.

"Harry, see if you can lock on to a core fragment." I said.

After a few moments, he said "Having no trouble penetrating the crust."

The Captain tapped her combadge and said "Janeway to Torres. We're ready when you are, Lieutenant."

"Setting up a class three containment field, Captain."

There was a few seconds of silence as we patiently waited.

"Field in place."

"Commence transport."

"Energising."

After a few moments, I heard B'Elanna gasp.

"Torres to Janeway. You'd better get down here, Captain."

"Problem, Lieutenant?"

"Yes, ma'am. That transport from the comet? It brought a man aboard. He says his name is Q."

My eyes went wide and I looked at the Captain. She looked just as shocked as I did.

"Red alert. I'll be right down."

"Oh, please don't bother, Captain. Let me take you to lunch instead." A male voice said.

Suddenly, the Captain disappeared.

"Computer, locate Captain Janeway."

"Captain Janeway is in the mess hall."

I sighed in relief and made a beeline for the turbolift, but someone took hold of my arm, stopping me from going anywhere. I turned round and saw it was Chakotay.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"To give Q a piece of my mind." I replied.

"Why? Do you know him?" he asked.

"The last time I saw Q, he sent half my class at the Academy onto a Romulan warship. We were stuck there for a week."

"There's no record of that ever happening."

"I know. He froze time on Earth so nobody would be suspicious."

Suddenly, Chakotay, along with all the other male officers on the bridge disappeared. I looked at B'Elanna in shock.
