Knock

We pull apart quickly and look up to see the tow man standing at the drivers side window.

My cheeks instantly turned red as the man gave us a disapproving glance.

We clamored out of the silver vehicle and got out of the way so the bulky man could find the source of the problem.

"The engines shot" he grumbled slamming the hood.

"You're kidding?" Luke almost begged.

"Nope. It's gone. Done. Caput. Donezo" the man said shutting the hood.

"Shit" Luke sweared, "what do I do?".

"Well I'm gonna hook it up the truck and take it to the lot and if you boys need a ride there I'll take you and from there you can choice to buy a new engine or sell us the car" he explained.

"A friend is on the way to get us but could my mom come by tomorrow and buy a new engine?" Luke questioned.

"Sure thing just sign this and I'm guessing she'll pay the bill tomorrow also" the man asked shoving a board at Luke.

The blond nodded and took hold of the item and signed the forms and handed it back.

"Thanks" he muttered and continued to hook the car onto the platform and drive away.

He sighed and plopped down on the ground extending his legs toward the street . I decided to do the same but I sat Indian style.

"So about what happened in the car" I began to say.

"It was my fault I'm sorry" he quickly budded in.

I laughed at the boys nervousness.

"Luke I kissed you back so obviously it was okay" I giggled gently pushing his arm.

"Really?" he asked enthusiastically.

"Yes Luke. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit, you're a pretty good kisser" I praised.

He grinned as a light pink spread to his face.

I was too busy staring at the blush-strunken boy to notice that a car had pulled up beside us.

"Get in losers we're going to Luna's".
