Melody's pov

I slowly tried to back my way out if the room, but I ended up in the chest of Conner.
He ran his fingers though my hair as he asked what's wrong.

"Nothing" was my simple excuse.

"Okay, then come in." He said pushing me back into my doom.
I awkwardly stood there while Conner sat in the huge chair behind his desk.

"Melody, this is Alpha Lace and his Luna, and Beta Chase and The beta female." and then he laughed to himself. "Mel, don't you have the same last name. Okay then, and this is my mate and Luna Melody."

My mother nearly choked.

"Ma-mate" she stumbled. Conner just nodded his head.

"Okay, lets get started." Conner said.

"Yes of course, we came to talk about, combining our packs to-"

"No! You can't do that! Then I am going to have to see my parents everyydaayyyy.." I slurred out realizing what I had said.

Conner slowly turned his head toward me.

"What." His vioce was low.

"Nothing!" I tried to quickly cover up.

"No. I you said something." He grabbed me and faced to the visitors, "and tell me who." Both the alpha and Luna looked over to there Beta and Beta female. Conner seemed to get there hint and turn to them.

"You two, the Betas! How dare you come to my pack house, knowing you have caused my mate's misery!" I could feel his anger coming off in waves.

"You said your daughter ran out when grounded her?" There alpha stated. My father put his head down. "Alpha, this isn't--" he was cut off by my mother.
"Alpha do you really believe that we would do something like that! We are your beta and beta female." She laughed.

Conner almost jumped on my mother."How dare you lie! I should have you sent to the torture chambers for that!"

With that my mother shrunk back into her seat.

"So it is true?" There luna asked.

My father stood up, throwing his chair back. " God dammit, girl! You always ruin things for me! You are a disgrace and wasn't worth having!" He charged at me, but was pushed back by Conner.

Within seconds there was around ten men dragging my father and mother out of the room as I stood there in shock.

"I'm very sorry Alpha Conner and Luna, if only we had known." Their alpha expained.

"It's okay." Conner looked over to me."Baby, are you okay?"

My heart was pounding in my chest and my head ached.

Conner lifted my body and brought me to his room.

I leaned into his embrace and told him it wasn't his fault.

"Well what do you want me to do with them." He said waiting.

"Huh." What did he mean?

"Kill them, slow death..." He gave examples.

"What! No! Don't kill them." I screamed.

"Why not?" He asked.

Why not? Because... Because. I don't know. They did deserve to die for what they did to me. But there is this urge saying that that's not me nor my mates job to do the killing. There time will come.

"I don't know... just don't. Please"

"Okay? They will be sent to the cells, that's it." That was the end of the conversation. Before I drifted off, I heard him say, "There's only problems after problems with us. But I'll make it though."
