Chapter 13

Lexi's POV

1 Month Later

I had a great time making the cover to Stay With Me and Sam Smith said he would love to work with me more after I have the baby. I'm now a month and a half pregnant and I just moved to a new place. Justin insisted that I move in with Selena and him and Laura is now back with us. Kynndall should be coming back to visit me in a couple weeks and Carter will bring Hayes with him for Laura. Justin is leaving on a two month tour soon and Selena instead that she stayed and helped me while he was gone. Right now I'm making lunch for everyone.

"Lexi you shouldn't be doing all this." Selena walked over and started helping me. I laughed and tolled my eyes. I was making them grilled cheese and to be honest I was happy Selena came to help me.

"Selena I'm glad you and my brother are together your so kind and sweet." She blushed and sat the sandwich done on the plate. We finished and called everyone to the kitchen to eat.

"After we're done Laura we need to get you back into school and I'm going to finish unpacking." Laura nodded and I sat next to her. I finished and sat my plate in the sink and walked up stairs And went to my room. I walked over to a box and opened it and seen a small box on top and I opened it. I smiled pulling the necklace it I remember when Taylor gave me it.

Flashback

It was the day after Carter and I broke up and we were at the mall. Taylor just payed for me to get my belly button pierced and now we are sitting and eating lunch when I noticed something in his hand.

"Oh I got you this because I know we will be together for a long time." I smiled and he stud to put it on me.

Flashback Over

I smiled and sat the necklace on my dresser. I walked back out pulling out clothes when Laura came into the room and started helping. We finished after about an hour and now were watching Despicable Me 2.

"Lex I have a question. Have you thought of any names you would name the baby?"I looked at her. I really never thought of anything yet.

"I don't know if its a girl I like the name Brooklyn and if its a boy I like Nick." She nodded and she knew why I picked Brooklyn.

Flashback

About a year ago on a rainy August day I was waiting for a phone call to say that my best friend was ok and I could come visit her. My best friend Brooklyn was on her way back home from somewhere when a truck crashed into the side of her car. Its been two hours since the accident when my phone went off. I tried to calm myself before answering.

L=Lexi
M=Brooklyn's Mom

L=Is she ok?

M= Lexi I think you may want to come down here. The doctors said it does bot look good,but there doing everything they can.

L=Ok I will be right down.

I hung up and wrote a quick note to my mom before leaving. I rushed down to the hospital and when I walked in Brooklyn's mom,dad,sister,and brother were all in tears. I rushed over to them and her mom looked at me.

"Lexi she just passed away." It felt like my heart was ripped out of me. My best friend since grade school is now gone. Gone forever I cried hugging Kynndall.

Flashback Over

Brooklyn was Kynndall sister and their brother's name is Austin. I looked over to Laura and noticed she was sound asleep. I got up and walked into the kitchen to dee Justin getting a drink.

"Justin is it wrong to still like someone after they cheated on you?"He looked over at me and finished his drink before answering.

"Lexi I don't think its wrong that you still like Taylor. I mean for really you are caring his kid after all and I mean one way or another you are going to have to tell him." Justin did have a point I am going to have to tell Taylor at on point. I just smiled and decided to go to bed.
