Chapter 5

Laura's POV

The lake was beautiful. Hayes took my hand and led me to the dock and we sat down. I sled closer to the water and rested my feet in it and Hayes did the same.

"If you end up in the water we can change right over there." Hayes said pointing to a small cabin in the woods. I nodded and Hayes took his shirt off and jumped into the water splashing me. I laughed taking my shirt and shorts off and jumping in the lake. I swam over to Hayes and he kept swimming out, so I went under and scared him.

"That's not funny Laura."Hayes said once I came up and splashed him. He splashed me back and we ended up splashing each other and i jumped on top of him.

Tiffany's POV

i can't belvie my ex husband came back,just so he can annoy Lexi and me. Laura has no idea about her father. I just hope Lexi tells her soon because they will be here tomorrow or I can have Brianna tell them to stay at her house. I finish makimg James's dinner and take it to him.

"See it's not that hard and when Lexi gets here tell her I want to talk to her." James said with a smirk on his face.

"Well we both know that's not going to happen." I said and walked back to Lexi's room to use the phone I hide in there. I dialed Lexi's number and hoped she would pick up. She finally answered.

Lexi-Mom??

Me-Lex honey I need you to text me phone and say your not going to be home till next week because dance and that Laura needs to come with you because you have a music video shout.

Lexi- Ok mom and please tell me he-

Me-No he didn't just don't worry. I love you and Laura too.

Lexi-Love you too also Laura is on a date.

Me-That's great crap I have to go he is coming.

I hung up the phone and put it back under the bed as soon as he opened the door. He smirk at me oh god.

Lexi's POV

Carter just left to pick up Hates and Laura. I told him about my dad and Alyssa is coming over so we can hang till my sister comes back. I smiled as Alyssa walked into my room.

"Hey girl." She said jumping over the side of the couch and sitting next to me.

"Hey want to go do something?"I asked as my phone went off. I looked and it was Carter. I raised my eyebrow and answered the phone.

Carter-Lex babe your dad came here with your mom and took Laura.

Me-But how are you sure it was them?

Carter-Laura told Hayes that was her dad and he said he was coming to find you. He kept asking Laura,but she didn't say anything,so he

Carter did not say anything which got me even more worried.

Me-Carter please tell me.

Carter-He beat her and put her in the car and drove off

I froze and dropped the phone. This cant happen to Laura too.
