The other side of Draco || Enemies to lovers

~Chapter 33~

I was so terrified right now, death eaters were running through the castle. I frantically searched for Draco amongst the crowd but I couldn't find him anywhere.

"Draco" I screamed but I knew nobody would have heard me as everyone else was yelling the name of of their loved ones, suddenly, I was pulled away and into a deserted corridor.

I screamed but the person covered my mouth

"Shh, Scarlett, it's me"

For a second, I thought it was Draco coming to rescue me but when I turned around, it was Potter.

"Potter, what are you doing pulling me out of the great hall like this?"

"Rescuing you"

"But why?"

"You're going to die in there, if not by the death eaters then by getting trampled with students"

"Umm... ok? Is that all?"

"No" he looked at me in the eye and I looked down, "I also wanted to ask you if you know anything about Draco being involved with the death eaters"

I suddenly shoved Potter away, "is that all? Rescuing me just to ask me that? I'd rather be in there getting killed than betraying Draco here with you!" I screamed

"Scarlett, calm down" Potter whispered and checked around, "so you do know something about Draco, please tell me Scarlett, it can help end the death eaters"

"NO! I WON'T TELL YOU ANYTHING" just then I saw Draco running in the opposite direction, I pushed Potter away and ran after Draco

I was far behind, Draco was already climbing the staircase up to the tower and I had just started on that corridor, I was too focused on keeping up with Draco I didn't hear Harry's footsteps behind me.

When I finally reached the top of the tower I stopped, Draco was holding his wand out to Dumbledore, ready to kill him. I wanted to cry out 'please, Draco, No!" But I was frozen with fear, he wasn't going to do this right? Maybe this was just a dream or I misinterpreted what was going on but my thoughts were interrupted with someone putting an invisibility cloak on me... Potter of course.

"How dare you Malfoy" I heard Potter mutter with anger just before he attempted to make a leap for Draco.

Frozen, Potter and I were frozen under the cloak

"Expelliarmus" Draco disarmed Dumbledore

"Avada Kedavra" was the next thing I heard, I had no idea what was going on as my mind just froze of fear, but I did know that Snape just killed Dumbledore.

"NO!" I wanted to scream but of course, I was frozen. It was this moment that I realized Dumbledore was a caring headmaster, despite what Draco or his father said, Dumbledore was the best thing that happened to Hogwarts.

"YOU ARE NOT DATING THE MALFOY BOY, GOT IT?" My father yelled, the front page of the daily profit read, 'Severus Snape, teacher at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry kills headmaster Dumbledore along with Draco Malfoy, student'

I nodded sadly, I didn't want to date a murderer anyways.
