In the headquater they took Martinus into a room and I had to wait. After half an hour I asked the lady if I can see him.

"Sure come. You can talk to him for a few minutes." The lady sais friendly. "Thanks." I say and smile.

She shows me the way to the room and locks the door behind me. I sit on the chair opposite of Martinus. His hands are fixed on the table with handcuffs.

"Why didn't they take off the cuffs?" I ask worried. Over his plaster the cuffs looks really tight.

"I don't care." He sais and tries to act cold. "Martinus I-" I get cut off by an officer opening the door. "You can leave now." He sais and takes off the handcuffs.

We say goodby and leave the builing. On the parking spot are Mom and Emma already waiting. "Martinus!" Emma yells happy and runs towards us.

She runs over the street without looking. "Emma!" Martinus screams, but too late the car already hit her.

The driver didn't even stop. But I don't care about the driver. I care about my sister, who is laying lifeless on the street.

I run to her and pull her on my lap. "Please don't leave me Emma. Please I need u." I sobb. From a distance I hear the faint sound of sirens.

Martinus is next to me sobbing and holding her small hand.

The ambulance stops next to us and the paramedics jump out. We get pulled away from her and stare at the paramedics trying to save her life.

"It's my fault." Martinus sobbs and breaks down crying. Should I hug him? Or would I make it even worse?

I decide to not hug him. Instead of me Mom pulls him into a warm hug. He crys into her shoulder.

"One of you can drive in the ambulance." One of the paramedics sais. "Martinus." I say fast. Mom nods and he slowly gets up into the car. They drive away with bluelight.

Me and Mom get into the car and drive as fast as possible behind them. In the hospital they take Emma into a room and we have to wait outside.

We're sitting here crying since two hours as a doctor calls us. Mom left to work she took a shift of a friend of hers. "Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen?" He asks. "Yes." We say and get up. "Your sister asked for you." He sais and shows us the way to her room.

He leaves us alone and we enter the room. Emma is laying on a bed. She looks weak an there are tubes everywhere. I have to cry again and Martinus is crying too.

We walk next to her bed and both take one hand. "Marcus? Martinus?" She asks but keeps her eyes closed.

"Yes we're here." I say and try to stop crying. "I-I'm sorry. If I had seen the car earlier you wouldn't be here now." Martinus sobbs.

"Stop crying please. I wanted to tell you that I love you and I wanted to thank you for taking all the hitts and cuts from Dad for me." She sais weakly.

"Why are you saying all this stuff?" I ask. "I'm going to die I think." She sais and me and my brother sobb again.

"Please never forget that I lov-" Right in that moment the machine made a horrible sound and the heartbeatline got straight. "Emma? Emma?" I yell sobbing and shake her body.

A few seconds later doctors and nurses enter the room and we get pushed outside.

We again wait for 30 minutes. But this time crying infront of her room. The doctor comes out of the room having sad face expression.

"How is she?" I ask. "Well we could get her back and she's alive but she's in coma." He sais and some nurses behind him push her bed out. "She's going to stay at a special station in the hospital for people in coma. You can visit her once a week." He sais and leaves.

I look behind them. There are more tubes than before. One is in her mouth to help her breath.
