hamuko woke up with a groan, sitting up whilst rubbing her eyes.
"g'mornng, me."
she looked up to the skies, appreciating the blue skies filled with clouds.
she always loved cloud-gazing. it was something she remember she enjoyed doing back in her past life.
the burgundy haired would spend the whole day on weekends looking at the sky, pointing out what clouds look like to herself.
sure, it was lonely. but she was used to it.
her stomach made a noise, making hamuko realize that she hasn't eaten at all ever since she woke up.
"damn, i haven't eaten since yesterday? wow, talk about being on a diet." she laughed to herself.
she stood up and brushed off the dirt covering the back of her legs. she was yet to find actual clothing that would cover herself.
"that'd require too much, anyways.. i don't even have the right tools."
hamuko started walking around with no direction in mind, only following the words of her guts to simply walk forward.
she observed her path, looking for anything that would be edible and would feed off her hunger. her features brightened when she saw grapes, the ones taiju would find sooner or later for senku to make alcohol.
she took a handful of grapes, keeping them in a wide leaf she plucked off a tree. using the vines she found yesterday, she tied the tip of the leaf with the vine, making it into some sort of small pouch.
"this is for later! just incase i don't find anything else on my way to wherever I'm going." hamuko assured herself.
she took more of the grapes, placing them into her palm, before putting one in her mouth. the girl flinched when sourness enveloped her tongue.
"man, what a sour taste.. i guess this would do for now, huh?"
hamuko started walking again, going god knows where, occasionally staring up at the skies, pointing out every shape she could see made out of clouds.
her eyes widened when she heard what she concluded as a river. fastening her pace, she felt herself sigh in relief when her theory was proven correct.
"now this. is epic."

hamuko slumped down to the ground. fishing with a stick wasn't easy at all. how the heck do people do it?
had she was given a fishing rod, everything would've been easy. she would've gotten something else other than grapes and mushrooms she didn't even like.
