and the awaited day comes. the wine they made together was distilled anough to make a jar of the 'miracle fluid' as taiju said.

it was the end of winter, spring just right around the corner.

hamuko had her bag looking basket that she weaved somewhen around the past few months slung around her shoulder to her waist. it was filled with grapes, as usual, and on another basket, it contained senku's trashy gps that he decided to give to her.

the burgundy haired look at the two boys infront of her. she was surely going to miss these two. she knew it wouldn't be long until tsukasa was going to be revived. she knew it was now or never.

"don't miss me too much, yeah?" hamuko stuck her tongue out.

"who's gonna miss your lazy ass, huh?" senku placed his hands on his hips. he stuck his tongue out back to hamuko, both of them glaring playfully at each other.

taiju picked up the burgundy haired and spun her around. the girl only could laugh in response, demanding for him to put her down.

the past few months had been fun, in hamuko's opinion. her bond with the two boys had grown into something she absolutely adored. though, maybe one more than the other.

she saw taiju as the brother she never had, be it little or the bigger bro, taiju was someone hamuko knew she could always count on if she ever needed help.

the burgundy haired did not expect herself to actually appreciate taiju on a sibling scale, because when she watched the anime and read the manga, hamuko had her eyes set on senku.

she was grateful, nonetheless. he and yuzuriha both were the ones to revive him in the near future after tsukasa's supposed murder.

and taiju did all the heavy work, collecting all sorts of mushrooms (even the ones hamuko didn't like), crushing the grapes and so. the brown haired even helped hamuko in catching fishes in the nearby river.

"alright, big oaf. that's enough. you don't want the lazy ass to get dizzy, do you? she's going to get herself lost before she could even get to the place she wants to go to." the science enthusiast gave them a deadpanned look.

taiju immediately put the girl down and placed his hands on her shoulder.

"don't forget us, okay?! i'll tell yuzuriha about all the things you did for us!"

hamuko nodded her head and shook the boy's hands off her shoulders. "i know you will, taiju-kun. stay safe until then! don't do anything stupid!"

the brown haired beamed at the girl, walking into the direction of the tree house. he waved to the girl before entering said place.
