"food is truly science..!"
hamuko watched lazily as the other four work their asses off to make green foxtail flour for the ramen she knew senku was going to tell her to cook.
. she sat under a tree, eyes darting to each and everyone's figure before settling her gaze on senku, doing what she usually does best and admire him from afar.
"this would be faster had hamuko joined us!" kohaku sort of yelled at the burgundy haired, indicating her frustration of what she had to do in order to make the flour.
hamuko glanced at kohaku and snickered.
"koha-chan, if you keep on frowning like that, you'll get wrinkles!" she all but ignored kohaku's complains.
when all was done and the green foxtail flour was acquired, senku gestured the burgundy hair to come to where they stood.
she picked herself up and stretched her arms, letting out a yawn while at the same time, somehow still groaning.
she walks to them with her hands crossed infront of her chest, tilting her head with one of her eyebrow raised.
"it's your turn, lazy ass." senku pointed to all the ingredients he had prepared sitting on one of the makeshift tables.
hamuko nodded and cracked her fingers and neck, motioning the rest of them to go away from what the girl now labelled as 'hamu's cooking station'.
"you guys can go, leave this to me!" she said with a small smile, eyea filled with sudden determination.
she was going to make one of the dishes she absolutely loved back in her past life.
she knew it wouldn't be the same one as the one her grandmother usually made for her after a long day in school. not even a single bit. but she'll be damned if that was going to stop her.
when she saw chrome standing behind her, she immediately pursed her lips and gave him a questioning glance.
"if you need anything, you can always ask good ol' best sorcerer, chrome!" the spiky haired boy pointed to himself with a large smile.
hamuko nodded and put her hands on his shoulder. she then turned him around and shoved him away from where she was going to start making the ramen.
"thank you, but no thank you, spiky-kun. no trolls allowed!" she watched as the boy fell down pathetically to the ground.
the burgundy haired girl chuckled in amusement at the boy's antic, bidding him a goodbye and telling him how she'd call him to be the first taster if he listened to what she said.
chrome stood up almost immediately, nodding in motivation and running away at full speed.
hamuko sighed in relief when she was alone. she didn't really quite like people being around when she cooked. it sort of made her insecure, but she wasn't going to tell anyone.
