They
say we humans
are the only animals
with souls, with emotion, butAre
we? A peculiar brooding Owl
meets my eye.
We exchange a silent "hello,"
And a silent "goodbye."
Howls of a Wolf
echoes through the calm,
And tiny feet scitter across my palm.Like
Children, Bunnies bounce
with great delight,
For they have survived
yet another night.
Meanwhile blissful beaked beauties sing melodies to the sky.
They sing to me, sing toUs.
Every creature unseen and seen,
Are unique and seek
to live a life like we.
As for me, I can see–
Their scintillating souls
within their eyes.
Can you?
