Most do not worship me,
That I do not mind.
But I wish to be respected
For I am the reason you're alive.I am the ground beneath your feet,
The water of which you need.
I am the gravity that holds you,
Keeping you safe with me.
I am the creator of all life,
Including the trees
Who help create the oxygen
you need to breath.
I am the sky towering above
Shielding harmful rays from our Sun.
I am even constantly turning
So everyone gets a chance to rest. Most do not worship me,
That I do not mind.
But I must be treated with care
For without me, you couldn't survive.I am leaving this message
Because clearly you don't understand
Out of the billions of years I've been here
You've done the most damageYou tear up my land, ruin my waters.
You destroy my trees,
Who help you breath.
You abuse other creatures
Who share my back.
You've polluted my sky
To the point of breaking.
And there's no fixing that.I strive to be a home to all.
But omnipotent I am not
And some things I cannot control.
You hurting me, could doom us all.
Of course I try to not blame you.
You are merely children
Learning to walk. But even children must learn
The consequences of their actions. Most do not worship me,
That I do not mind.
But I require respect and care
For there is no planet B.
