Chapter 25. Development

          Previously On "Man Made"

          Currently, Nadir and a clone of Dabi are moving through the forest in search of the teachers. While they are moving, (Y/n) hears many sounds in the distance.

          Dabi was going to use this moment to set the room ablaze. However, the door slammed open and Eraser Head rushed in, quickly erasing Dabi's quirk. (Y/n) managed to escape. Eraser Head noticed him and thought they seemed familiar, but was too busy dealing with Dabi to chase them. Quickly tying the clone of Dabi in her capture gear, she proceeded to stomp the clone into mud.

          "Be glad you made it here when you did, cutie. Had my clone not come get you last minute, you were caught." Dabi said, a sly smile on her face.

3rd Person P.O.V.

          It is currently the day after the training camp invasion. (Y/n) is walking towards the beach where he agreed to meet with Shade.

          "So far, no one has come to get her, though I doubt the pros are doing nothing. Also, we're no closer to convincing Katsumi to become a villain. This is so exhausting." (Y/n) thought to himself as he was walking.

          The rest of the walk was filled with various thoughts of random subjects. Eventually, he got to the beach. Awaiting him was Shade, dressed in a blue t-shirt and black sweatpants.

          "Took you long enough. Anyway before we begin, how'd your training camp invasion go. It was all over the news" Shade greeted.

          "Well, the mission was a success, but I almost got caught. I had to fight Eraser Head. I only got 1 hit in." (Y/n) answered.

          "I see." Shade commented.

          "Which actually leads me into a request. My fight with Eraser Head is proof enough that I'm too reliant on my quirk in fighting. And yes, while I know some basics, overall my non-quirk combat ability is lacking. So please, teach me how to fight without my quirk." (Y/n) requested as he bowed to Shade.

          "Non-quirk combat, huh? Yeah, I can teach you that. In fact, we could work a little on that today. However, I'll only help reinforce your basics and build your technique. It's on you to figure out how to use what you're given." Shade answered, then decreed.

          "Thank you very much!" (Y/n) thanked, filled with gratitude.

          "But before any combat training, we gotta work on your meditation. Yesterday, you did really good. Today, I want you to do better." Shade instructed.

          "Yes ma'am." (Y/n) responded as he took his sitting position.

          The next 45 minutes were spent repeating the same steps as the previous lesson. Shade gave (Y/n) the same advice and (Y/n) followed it to the best of his ability. Unlike last time, (Y/n) found himself in his dreamscape room, dressed in full villain attire.

          "Hey kiddo. I didn't call you here, so what's up?" Contrast asked.

          "I don't know how I got here. I was at the beach with Shade and we were meditating, then I suddenly found myself here." (Y/n) explained.

          "Oh, I understand now. I guess when you meditate, if you do it right, you'll come to this room." Contrast responded.

          "I guess." (Y/n) responded.
