Sadly my day with Kyle turned sort due to work so after we gotten dressed, he drove me home and I didn't have to work today.
So me Jenny, Katy, Rob, and James are gonna hang today!
I looked in the mirror checking out my outfit which was a pure white romper with white sneakers to match and I touched the necklace that Kyle gifted me loving how it went well with my outfit and I also notice when the ballerina had one hand in the air, it had a miniature diamond on top that sparkled.
Very beautifully.
Exiting my apartment, the guys must be wondering where I am noticing I'm late by five minutes.
When I arrived ten minutes later at the rooftop bar, I found them at the corner booth from across the roof as corded lights hung above lighting up the top as people enjoyed themselves.
I made my way over as their faces lit up
"Mae! Finally, you're here!" They all spoke in unison. A smile breaks out on my lips as James pats the seat beside him. I accept his gesture noticing he looks handsome tonight.
"Sorry I'm late everyone, I lost track of time" I spoke setting my clutch aside
"No worries but I'm sure who keeps occupying you" Jenny smirked and I blushed along with a chuckle
Then Rob looked confused
"You mean that Kyle dude? The two of you actually hit it off" Trying to clarify and I agreed
"Yes Rob"
But I left out the part when I stayed at his penthouse.
"I want details Mae" Jenny pointed at me with her lips pursed.
Later we had a few drinks but I only had soda with ice since I don't drink any alcohol at all and I don't plan too. It's been three hours since we been here and we've laughed having fun.
Suddenly it came to the thought that I haven't even checked my phone for any messages from Kyle so I excused myself from the booth and saw a couple of missed calls from Kyle...
Ten missed calls!
Shit.
So I decided to call back and when he didn't pick up, I left a voicemail "Hey Kyle, I'm so sorry I missed your calls-"
"You should have least told me you were going out"
Suddenly I shrieked hearing his voice behind me as my body spins around finding him looking stern and still wearing a suit, minus the suit jacket.
"Kyle! How did you find me?" I asked very puzzledly
"I have my ways baby girl and next time give notice of where you are--I thought something happened" Kyle scolded and I can't help but nod
"Okay... I'm sorry"
His concern does seem sweet but I'm a big girl which is why I should say something-
"Are you here with anybody?" Kyle interrupted my thoughts and I turned to the guys
"Yes, I'm here with my friends" I responded. Kyle looked at them recognizing James that brought distaste to his expression.
"Did he try anything?" He asked becoming arrogant
I sighed "James is only a friend, Kyle"
From the looks of it, He didn't believe it but Kyle didn't say a word that made me roll my eyes.
"There you are!" A sudden voice called out and Kyle looked over as did I
It's a man, looked about the same age as Kyle and handsome! He wore a black bomber jacket with a grey tee underneath and jeans. His sculpted jawline had stubble that suited him perfectly included a brunette buzz cut.
"Mae, this is my good friend Daniel Whyte"
I smiled holding out my hand "Nice to meet you, Mr. Whyte"
He smirked kissing my knuckles "Yes, Kyle has mentioned you and I must say you are beautiful"
I blushed and release a nervous giggle that made me look like a fool.
Kyle grabbed me by the waist, pulling me to his side "Hands off, Whyte" He glared and he chuckled very used to his sneer.
"I get it and calm down I'm also taken" Daniel smirked "And don't call me Mr. Whyte, makes me feel old"
I grinned "Okay Daniel"
We decided to sit down at another table enjoying each other's company and I learned Daniel's girlfriend is named, Madeline. They've been together since high school which is sweet but Daniel is planning to move away soon,
In a year or two from his guessing.
I wish them the best and Kyle has been stuck to me all night like glue and it's slightly annoying but if I tell him it might hurt his feelings.
I hate hurting people's feelings.
When I felt Kyle become close, his face nuzzled in the crook of my neck I shuddered, feeling the hairs stand up and I bit my lip silencing a moan when his lips nicked my skin.
"People are looking" I blushed including I saw Jenny and James staring in shock.
Kyle pulled back a few inches "Let's get outta here" spotting lust within his eyes.
The urge of wanting him did sound pleasant and I felt the need in my lower region so I nod then Kyle stood paying the bill and told Daniel we're leaving.
I'll send texts to the guys informing my apology tomorrow, We leave the rooftop with our hands collide heading downstairs to his car.
Once we approached his car, Kyle finally placed his lips on mine as we kissed hungrily with a passion...
