I thought long and hard last night while I kept tossing and turning. when I end things with Kyle, I pray he takes it well and I'm doing it publicly when the time comes.
Maybe tonight or tomorrow...
Finishing with my food, Kyle texted saying he will arrive five minutes after lunch. However, what Jenny did to me, I think I lost my best friend which caused me to frown.
Still can't believe she did this, Just proves our friendship wasn't real at all.
"Do you work today sweetie?" Hearing mother speak
I realized I'm still sitting just staring at my plate in deep thought "No and Kyle's picking me in a few"
"He's a kind man, Mae I really liked him" She smiled
"Yeah... Kind man" If she only knew
Hearing a sudden honk, I perked up "He's early" My voice mumbled getting up
Mother dries off her hands
I rush towards the door grabbing my stuff then I heard Brooke call out running downstairs still dressed in her pj's
"Yes?"
"You forgot this!" Brooke held out her hand revealing my necklace that Kyle got for me, I touched my collarbone not feeling no jewelry
I must've got lost in my thoughts last night to put it back on.
"Thank you" I chirped
"I love that jacket, Mae" she awe's at the leather coat Kyle bought me yesterday.
I grinned placing my stuff back down only to swiftly toss the jacket around her petite shoulders "Here, you can have it... when you finally go to high school all the girls would be so jealous of you"
Brooke's face lit up with happiness
"Really Mae!? I love it, thank you!" She exclaimed with happiness properly putting it on, just a tad big but she'll grow into it when the time comes.
"You're welcome" I giggled picking up my stuff again
I said my goodbyes and hugged everyone.
"Love you!" I yell out to them while jogging towards Kyle's car as he leans against it waiting for me
"Hello Baby girl" Kyle greets once I reached him
We share a short kiss
"Hey" He opens the door for me "Thanks" I get in suddenly dropping my necklace on the floor.
