I wasn't scared but very nervous, How did he know where I was? I couldn't ask nor defend the predicament because Bree walked up thinking she going to see Miss Codwell instead she saw Kyle standing abroad.
"Hello sir, How may we help-"
"I'm here to see Mae" Kyle rudely interrupted her and I frowned
"I-I can explain-" Being interrupted again by thee Miss Codwell herself.
"Where are my babies?" She strutted inside holding her Prada bag wearing designer clothing that I'm admiring deeply.
I wish I could afford something like that.
"Uh-Hi Miss cod-"
"Save it, Just give me my babies" She continued to cut me off bitterly while Bree and I share an eye roll heading towards the backroom.
We gently grab the Yorkies who looked so adorable due to Bree and I. We returned only to see Codwell already flirting with Kyle that made me feel uneasy inside my stomach. I frowned hating the scene before me including the jealousy I felt.
But by now, Kyle had his sunglasses removed and I saw the annoyance within his eyes.
"So, Are you doing anything tonight?" Codwell bit her lip seductively waiting for Kyle's answer
"Don't you have your 'babies' to attend too?" Kyle looked utterly uninterested glancing at her and shrugged
"What babies?" She giggled. Bree cleared her throat gesturing to her Yorkies and Codwell rolled her eyes.
"They are groomed just the way you like Miss Codwell" Bree mentioned in a sassy tone that made me smile faintly
"Yeah, whatever peasant" She spat. Bree is my good friend and I wasn't gonna stand someone disrespect her like that.
"Her name is Bree and she worked hard grooming your brats called Yorkies" I retorted in annoyance. Codwell scoffed grabbing her pets "Consider yourselves payless because I'm not accommodating your pay today" She glared at us including Kyle then storming out of the shop.
"God she's such a bitch! I needed that pay" Bree frowned and me too knowing it's my fault
"Look, I'm sorry Bree"
She sighed "No, Don't be Mae... It's fine" Bree walked away.
I turned back to Kyle but he was gone! "Kyle!" I called but he wasn't here nor answered. I slumped my shoulders knowing I wasted his time which is why he's gone.
