The day after Mae is still overwhelmed by the news that Jenny dropped yesterday evening and also the blind date that will occur tomorrow, Friday night.
"It's such short notice" Mae groaned to herself while digging through her closet. She had the urge to cancel due to the fact Mae had nothing to wear, her work schedule is muzzled and time is busy.
"That's it, I can't do this" Mae threw her hands up in frustration then leaving her closet including her bedroom, she enters the kitchen where her cellphone is charging on the counter.
Snatching the phone, Mae dialed a number and her best friend's voice chirped.
"Hello Mae" Jenny spoke
"I need to cancel Jenny, I'm nowhere ready and I'm swamped with work" Mae started to pace, Hearing a sigh knowing she's just nervous so Jenny tried to calm her down.
"It's normal for you to act this way, Mae, listen go to the mall and buy a sexy dress for tomorrow night-"
