That Awkward Love

The Hotel Room (Kira's POV)

So we checked into the hotel I noticed that Tara and Alberto would be sharing a room. So that meant me and Oswaldo would have to share a room. As we trail up to our room he opens the door for me. As I walk around our room I noticed there was only one bed.
"Umm I can make a bed on the floor. Oswaldo said.
As a smirked at him I said, "No it's fine. We can share."
It was 8:30 p.m and I was pooped. I have been on a plane for 3 hours then the hour and a half drive to the airport. All I wanted to was sleep. As I change into my short shorts and my tank top, I settled down. I flip through the channels noticing a scary movie is on.
"Umm what are we watching." He asked.
"The Conjuring." I said laughing a little bit.
"Oh goodie a scary movie my favorite." he said with a not happy face.
As I let out a little giggle the movie finally began. It was Oswaldo and I laying in the bed. Every time a scary part came on he shuffled closer to me. Finally we were side by side. He did the classic yawn and put his arm around me. A little part of my was like "really" but the other part was screaming with joy. As the movie creeps to the most scary part Oswaldo says, "Oh my lord what is this."
As he grips my hand he looks me into the eyes and kisses me.
All of a sudden I wake up. The movie is still going Oswaldo is on his phone everything that just happened was a dream. But why am I dreaming about that.
I I glance over at him he looks up and says, "Hey party pooper way to leave me with this horrible movie. I don't think I could ever forgive you."
I knew he was joking because he started to smile at the same time. As I drag myself out of the bed, I headed over to the bathroom. I had to release my bladder. I go over to the sink to was my hands and slash water to my face. I grabbed the rag to dry it and noticed how gross I looked. I don't pay any attention to it since it's night time anyway. I look at the time and it says 11:30 p.m. I let go this long ass yawn.
"Can we turn the T.V off please. I am so tired." I said looking at him with my puppy dog eyes.
He looked at me and said, "Yes we can." He grabbed the remote and pushed the power button. All of a sudden I noticed we were laying there in the dark and silence.
I turned to him and said, "can we cuddle. I would feel way more better if we did."
"Yeah sure." Oswaldo said grabbing my waist and pulled me close.
I whispered and said, "Thanks!"
As I fell asleep in his arms, that exactly how I woke up. I was the first awake, and it was awkward as crap. As I tried to pry his arms off me she softly opened his eyes.
"Good morning. What time is it?" He managed to say rubbing his eyes.
I grabbed my phone and it said 8:45 a.m. I cleared my throat I said, "8:45 and do u want coffee or something."
"How about we go down to the breakfast buffet." he said with a look that meant he was hungry.
As I put my slippers on we go slide into the elevator. Oh how I hate elevators and escalators. I had my eyes closed and my hands over my face.
"Umm you okay there Kira." Oswaldo asked.
"Yeah sure. I just hate these things." I said quickly. Finally it came to a stop.
We made our way into the breakfast place. As I go and grab an apple and a bowl of cereal. I go and sit at a window table. Not long offer me comes Oswaldo with a plate full. He had bacon, eggs, toast, and fruit.
"Hungry much?" I asked laughing at him.
"A growing boy has to have a nice breakfast. You have nothing but a serving for a mouse." He said pointing at my food.
I just rolled my eyes. Obviously I finished before him. As I sat there waiting for him to finish eating I get a text from Tara.
"Hey girl. I am going shopping with Alberto. Meet you later at the pool!! XoXo--Tara."
"We'll I guess you and I get a day together." I said awkwardly.
He smiled and said, "Well let's go to the beach.
As we headed back to the room and looked up and said, "Could we just stay inside, I feel we need to get to know each other better."
"That's a good idea." he said.
All I could think of was the hotel room.
