Three months blew past. It's June 12th, the day before my wedding. My nerves were getting the best of me. I'm scared, I really am. I laid my outfit out into my chair in my room. I'm not having party, because I just didn't want one. I look at the clock and it's 6:30 p.m. We have a rehearsal and then that's the last time I see my lovely fiancé Tara. I knocked on Oswaldo's door and he came out. We headed to the truck when I got a phone call from my mom.
"Where are you niño?" She screamed!!
"I'm on my way Madre." I yelled.
"Okay rápido." she said.
As we pull up this giant building, I hop out. I took a deep breath and walked through the front doors. Oswaldo was going to be my best man because he is my best man. I walked into the ball room and looked around. Wow it was hug. I dropped off the alcohol and got back into the truck. We finally pulled up to the Catholic Church. It was so old and vintage, which made it beautiful. I climbed out of the truck and walked through the door. My parents came and greeted me, next Tara and her parents came and greeted me. We eventually got to the rehearsal and by the time I knew looked at the clock it was 8:30 p.m. We left the church and headed back to the house. As we open the door to the house Kira was sitting on the couch, reading a book. She looks up and hugs Oswaldo. They sit down on the couch and snuggles.
"Hey guys I'm going to bed. I have a long day ahead of me!" I said walking up the stair.
"Alright. See you tomorrow." they both said.
As I fell into bed it only took a couple of seconds to fall asleep. I felt a tap on my back.
"Hey man wake up it's your big day." Oswaldo said.
I glanced at the clock and it said 6:30 a.m. It only felt like I have been asleep for like 2 hours. I dragged myself out of the bed and got into the shower. As I dry myself off I get a text message from Tara.
To Alberto: Hey Babe I'm excited for today see you later.
I love how she does these things. I was for sure glad she is the one I am going spend the rest of my life with.
To Tara: I love you too. You are going to look beautiful. See you!!
I pulled some sweatpants on and stomped down the stairs. I went straight for the kitchen to get some coffee. At 10:00 a.m I have to head over to the church to take pictures.
I go up stairs and it 9:30 a.m. I quickly get dressed and get in Oswaldo's car and head over. Oswaldo and Kira come dressed and ready shortly after me. When 10:00 came rolling by, we all had to smile, pose, and go from place to place. Pictures slanted for about 2 hours. Finally can the moment.
We all took our places. First walked in Oswaldo and Kira. We only had two wedding people. Next my loving fiancé. The minute I saw her all I could think was this is our big day.
