Chapter 12: Unity

"Sam! Yusei quickly put his arm around my shoulder.

"No...just...one more...duel..." I said.

Goodwin let us in through the gate before his mansion somehow grew into a huge tower. He then revealed that he was the final Dark Signer as he took a of our Signer marks and put the entire Crimson Dragon mark on his chest.

I growled. "You won't get away with this, Goodwin!"

"And who is going to stop me? You are far too weak to duel."

"But I can still ride! I'll just settle for a turbo duel instead!"

"But I'm going with her!" Yusei said.

"So am I!" Yusei chimed in.

"I'm not to miss out on this!" Jack said.

"If I duel, then they come with me!"

"As you wish. If that is your final decision, then I will have twice as many Life Points. I will start with 8000 instead."

"Then let's not waste any time and get this duel started!" I took my arm off of Yusei and tried to stand, but I ended up leaning on the stone pillar of the stairs that lead up to the top of the tower for support. I felt so weak, but I had to keep going. If I could stand, than I could sure as hell duel!

"Very well then, we will duel on the crest of the condor, there I will crush you Singers!"

"So then let's go!" I pushed off the stone and ran to my duel runner, hopping on as the guys and I all took off. Now that I was sitting down for a change, I felt like I could do this, especially with the spirits on my side along with all my friends. "I'll go first! And to start, I'm gonna Summon out Princess Saturn, in Attack mode!"

[LV 4 / ATK 2000 / DEF 1500]

"Now I activate her special ability! With it, she can dish out 500 points of damage for every card in my hand once a turn, and I have five, so that's 2500 points on damage. Prepare yourself, this is gonna hurt!"

[8000 --> 5500]

"Next I place two face downs and end my turn."

"Then it's my turn!" Yusei said. "And I'm Summoning out Speed Warrior!"

[LV 2 / ATK 900 / DEF 400]

"And during the turn Speed Warrior is Summoned, his Attack doubles, so let's put those points to good use and Attack!"

[5500 --> 3200]

"That evens things up a bit." Yusei said. "I place one card face down and end my turn.

"I'm up then!" Crow said happily! "And I Summon Blackwing - Jin the Rain Shadow! Since I can't do much, I think I'll just finish there!"

"Then it's my turn and to start, I'm Summoning out my Vice Dragon! Since I Summoned this Monster without Tributing, it loses half its Attack and Defense. But next I release Voce Dragon to Summon out Strong Wind Dragon! But I think I'll just finish there."

The duel was goi g in our favor as we had already knocked Goodwin's Life Points down to size. But once he Summoned out his sun and moon dragons, it all went downhill from there.

We all took a major pounding as Goodwin managed to bring his Earthbound Immortal... Not good. "Now I Summon Earth Bound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca!"

[LV 10 / ATK 100 / DEF 100]

"By discarding one card from either my side of the field or my hand and sending it to the Graveyard, I can reduce your Life Points down to one! So I'll start with you, Crow! By sending Moon Dragon to the Graveyard, your Life Points reduce to one!"
