I quickly ran to the door and put my hand on the handprint scanner, but it was denied. That's right, I forgot the door is locked... What do I do? Then it hit me. I backed up and held my hand out towards the door. I used my energy to blast force at the door as it unlocked, the door sliding open. Without hesitation, I ran out of the room, but was stopped by loud banging.
"Hey!! You out there! Can you let me out?"
I held my hand out with a closed fist, closing my eyes. My eyes shot open as my hand did as well, the door opening as a woman with charcoal black hair and coke bottle glasses came out. This girl was revealed to be that journalist, Carly Carmine.
"Thanks a bunch, I owe you. But wait...why is an Arcadia member locked in a cell? This sounds like a scoop! But I can't stick around to get facts. Better beat it before I'm caught again! See ya!" She said before running off.
I then noticed a paper she dropped as I picked it up. It was something about both Goodwin and Jack originally being born in the Satellite Sector, not that I already didn't know that, about Jack at least. I didn't have time to study the whole paper as I folded it back up and shoved it in my pocket.
Where could she be? I had to hurry and find Luna, but then I saw liquid, but he wasn't himself. Sayer must've brainwashed him too... But he's in my way, and I can't let him see me. I'll have to distract him...but with what? I looked around and saw a statue that looked like it can be pushed over.
(That should do the trick.) I thought.
I ran over to the statue and leaned against it, pushing as hard as I could as it fell over. Before Liquid could see me, I ran back and hid by the wall as he walked over to it. While he was busy trying to set the statue back up, I ran behind him and tried to find Luna. As I was running, I finally sensed Luna as I stopped in front of a room. She's in here. I held my hand up with a closed fist and closed my eyes. My eyes shot open along with my fist as the door unlocked, the door opening as Luna ran out.
"Sam!"
"I found you... I'm glad you're okay..."
"Luna!"
We both looked over as I saw the one person whom I had finally remembered and probably longed for in the back of my mind.
"Yusei!" She said.
"Sam!?"
I then gasped. "In here, quick!" I said as we all ran into the room.
Once the door closed, Yusei and I stared at each other.
"Sam..."
"Yusei..."
"Uhh, do you two know each other?" Luna asked.
"We're old friends from the Satellite." Yusei said. "What happened to you?"
"Yusei, I'm sorry, but Sayer kidnapped me and brainwashed me so that I wouldn't remember you and so that he could use me to gain access to the Spirit World, which is where I met Luna."
"Wait, brainwashed!?"
I then explained everything up till now that has happened to me. All the expressions Yusei made didn't make it any better as there was anger, rage, fear, even shock... I read every expression loud and clear...
"That would explain the uniform..."
"I'm sorry, for all of this..."
"No, it's not your fault..."
"Leo!" Luna said. "I almost forgot about him!"
"Yusei, can you go with Luna to get Leo? I have to go find Akiza."
