Once we arrived at the square, we all looked around for a way into the main lobby so we could get to Akiza in time for her duel. Okita looked over to me as he spoke.
"Sam, go up north and see if you can find a way in." He said.
"I'm on it." I said, heading upwards.
I passed the entrance arch only to see a guard in front of the gate that was blocking my only way inside. Damn... No good. He wouldn't let me in even if he wanted to... And considering what I'm wearing, that doesn't exactly help my situation any better. I've gotta find another way in... I turned back and went to find the boys. Great... Now where'd they run off to? Sure, leave me to get caught... I let out an irritated sigh until someone called out to me.
"Sam! Over here, Sam!" Called Liquid as he waved his hand, beckoning me to go to him.
I quickly ran over to him as we met up
with Okita, only to be faced with yet again, another problem..."It's way too small." Liquid pointed out.
"We'll never fit through there..."
Both boys looked at each before smirking, turning their gaze at me. My eyes flickered to each one of them, going back and forth, until I soon understood..."Come on! Just a little bit more!" Okita encouraged.
I felt like I was stuck between a rock and a hard place, but to be literal, I was stuck between a fence and those two morons trying to shove me through it. They gave my hips one last shove and I was through! I landed on my side and quickly pushed myself up to look at the two.
"Go on ahead, we'll find another way in." Liquid said. I nodded and went on by myself.
----------------------------------------------
I might as well be in a maze from all the boxes that were blocking my way. Those two idiots decided to sneak me into the storage room. There were so many crates and boxes in my way; good thing they were lightweight. As I was pushing the crates and boxes aside, one caught my eyes. It was written in big, bold letters that read "PROPERTY OF JACK ATLAS. DO NOT TOUCH." I stared at it for a moment before tilting my head slightly.
(Where have I heard that name before?) I thought. That name sounded so familiar, but why? I didn't have time to ponder over it because I had to keep moving before I was caught down here.
Once I was out of that death trap, I found a stairwell as I climbed it, ending up in the main lobby. I walked down the long hallway, getting nowhere fast as I had no idea where Akiza was. The last thing I wanted was for Sayer to be upset because I failed to find Akiza.
"Well, well, what do we have here? If it isn't little Sammy."
Correction, the last thing I wanted was to get caught...
I quickly turned around to see a tall blonde dressed all in white and light blue, his violet eyes staring me down.
"I'm sorry, but...do I know you?" I asked.
"Come on, Sammy, don't pretend like you don't know me."
I stared at him, confused. "Are you telling me you don't remember one of your old friends?"
Slowly, I shook my head. Suddenly, the man came over to me and grabbed my arm, pulling me along. We went down the stairs to the storage room as he slammed the door shut, throwing me against a wall. He quickly came up to me and grabbed my chin, turning my head in different directions a couple times before our eyes met.
"You really don't remember me, do you?" He asked.
I shook my head again. "No, sorry..." The man then released my chin and took a step back.
Suddenly, my head started hurting as I heard loud ringing in my ears. I grabbed my head and fell to my knees, the man getting to his knees as well.
"Sam! What's wrong? Sam!" He exclaimed.
Images flooded my mind of four boys I didn't recognize as names were thrown all over the place. I quickly opened my eyes as both the ringing and the sudden headache disappeared. My hands lowered as I looked up. "Sam?" He asked.
I stood up. "I'm sorry, but I don't remember you. I should go or Sayer will be upset." And with that, I left the room.
----------------------------------------------
That was so weird... Those images, those names, it didn't make any sense. I couldn't think about it now as I still had to go find Akiza. Well I finally found the entrance door to the duel field as I went through it. Big mistake...
"Black Rose Dragon, attack with Black Rose Gale!"
"Stardust Dragon, attack with Cosmic Flare!"
Each blast hit with incredible strength as it was a battle of the dragons. A huge explosion went off as a large, almost unreal looking, dragon appeared. I yelped out as I fell backwards onto my rear. My eyes turned a bright red as images and symbols flashed throughout my mind. The dragon soon disappeared as quickly as it came, my eyes returning to normal as all the images and symbols were gone.
That boy... I felt like I recognized him, but...I don't know where. I started to walk forward, until I was suddenly cut off.
"There you are, Sam!" Said Okita as the two took my arms.
"Come on, Sayer said we have to go back." Liquid said as they took me away.
Who was that boy?
