Ch. 6

A knock on the door was what made Steve jump at the unexpected noise. He rushed over to answer it. "Hello?"
"Hey."
"Oh uhm Hello Max and Dustin."
"We need you." Max said in a bit of a happy tone.
"Forrrrrr what?"
"Just.....to hang out." Dustin gave a smirk to Max.
"Um....how do you even know where I live-"
Steve got cut off my Max grabbing his arm and leading him down the driveway.
"Okay we're going this way then."
"Dustin are they still there?"
Max just ignores Steve and continues leading Steve.
"Yeah pretty sure."
"Perfect."
"What are you guys planning?"
"A moment you'll never forget"
"What if I want to forget it?"
Dustin rolled his eyes at Steve.
"I'm just so confused."
"Both of you shush." Max said in a voice that sounded annoyed.

"We are almost here."
"Can I take off my blindfold?"
"No."
"Ughhhhh.." Max and Dustin started whispering while Steve tried to see through the blind fold so he can go on his phone.
"You really think this will work, Max?"
"I mean we can at least make them friends."
"Hopefully. How did you even get him there?"
"I said that there was a new car there."
"Woah really, and he believed it?"
"Not at first."
"What did you do..?"
"Nothinggggg..."
"Well it sounds like something."
Steve looked at where he believed they are.
"What are you two rambling about?"
"Nothing, Steve."
"We're here!"
"Where?"
"StarQuart!"
"Why?" No one answered Steve's question and Max just took off his blindfold.
"Max." They all turned around at the terror filled voice behind them.
"Oh, uhm h-hello my dear brother of mine." Max smiled nervously.
"Why did you-"
Steve and Billy made eye contact and Max let go of Steve. No words were said. Steve couldn't mutter any words. Billy didn't know what to say.
"What is happening?" Dustin whispered over to Max. She shrugged. "Let's just watch."
Dustin nodded.
"U-um......h-hello..."
"Hey..."
"What are you....doing here?"
"Max....dragged me here..."
"Are you....feeling any better....?"
"Yeah....I guess..."
The awkward silence was broken by Max saying something.
"How about you two high school friends hang out...?"
Steve and Billy looked at Max.
"Uhm..."
"I mean um..."
"Glad you two agree!" Max shuts them up by pushing them in the mall. "Now have fun!"
Max and Dustin leave.
"Uh..."
"You know what, it'll be fun."
"What....do you mean?"
"C'mon Billy, I know the best places in the mall!"
Billy looked at Steve.
"Fine."
"Really?!"
"Yeah..." Steve gave him a smile.
"Follow me!"
Billy smirked a bit and follows him.
