I didn't tell him. I couldn't.

I'm up here again. I swore I wouldn't come.

Promises are sure hard to keep, huh?
Kacchan told me to come here. To do it.

Hope for a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof. His words echo in my head again. He told me to do it.

No one to blame except for himself. And myself. He told me too. I listened.

I gave my mom my letter and told her to open it if I wasn't back before sundown. She probably opened it already. My phone keeps buzzing. I keep ignoring it.

The sun is balancing on the edge of the horizon.

I left my letter to Kacchan on his desk. I know he saw it, because it was sticking out of his pocket as he left school.

The cement below is so comforting. I want to reach it. I want to jump.

Today, the edge looks so, very, really, incredibly inviting.

I'm ready now.

Thank you, Kacchan.
