I Was Pregnant Yesterday

Holy cheesecake

Amanda's POV

It has been a week since I got discharged from the hospital and today was Thursday and Charlie was flying back to town.

I have been missing my best friend so much.I decided to take her out tonight to club Blue Moon that's 30 minutes from my apartment to welcome her.

The weather today was quite warm so I decided on wearing my knee length white floral dress and pin my wild curls away from my face in a bun.

With no make up I apply lip balm and make my way to the kitchen.
I made my morning shake and grabbed my bowl and made cereal.

Today I'm going to the mall I need to do shopping and I'm happy that the swelling on my face is no more and my nose is healing better than expected.

After I finished eating I decided to do some cleaning before I left since I still had time to spare.

After an hour I was finally done and ready to leave.
It took me 15 minutes to make it to my destination.The mall was packed today so I made my way to my favourite boutique that sold almost everything a woman could ever need,grabbing a sweater I think myself that to be honest I'm glad Mr Hart payed my hospital bill otherwise I'd be broke right now but I didn't choose to have my nose broken by his sister.

Thinking of Henley I remembered that I had rescheduled coffee for this Saturday.
Making sure my reminder was set  I made my way to the till.

After settling my bill I had 5 shopping bags on my hands and I moved on to the next store,a shoe store.

I looked for sneakers I haven't bought a pair in a while.
Buying a pair turned out to buying more than six pairs of sneakers.
I bought Charlie a pair of heels and I bought myself 4inch stiletto
black boots and pumps.

By the time I was done it was already 14:00pm and Charlie was going to arrive in less than 4 hrs.
I made my way to a restaurant that sold sea food.
Buying hake and a green salad I ordered coke.

Checking my phone for new notifications I see that mom texted me reminding me about the auction we're supposed to go to tomorrow for a charity event.

My brother had sent me his picture with the white doctors coat.
Taking a selfie I texted back asking for FaceTime later.

Five minutes later my food arrived and I helped myself.Leaving the mall I passed by Mrs September's place to grab donuts  for Charlie.

After being bombarded with questions from the warm old lady,I finally made my leave promising to come see her again.

After wards I went to buy groceries from the convenient store that was so not convenient down the block. You'll never find fresh milk from that place or working light bulbs.

I made my way to my apartment with all the bags heavy on me I went again to get the last load before deciding to choose an outfit for tonight after I finish putting everything away.

Twenty minutes later I was done packing the groceries and I decided to take a quick nap as I still had two hours more before I had to go the airport to fetch Charlie.

It felt like thirty minutes before a pestering knock that knocking resonated through my whole apartment I ignored the person for the first 3 times hoping they will go away but they didn't.

Rolling over my side I checked the alarm ohh holy cheesecake I was supposed to pick Charlie up 2 hrs ago and I never set an alarm for it.

Jolting from the bed quickly I brushed my teeth and rinsed my face before trying to smooth my dress with my hands as I dialed Charlie.

I had forty three missed calls from her.
"I'm outside your door,I've been here for twenty minutes." She spoke through the phone sounding calm why was she calm about this?

If there's one thing about Charlie perfection is her middle name.
