Hollidaye was sleeping. Suddenly she woke up with a start. She heard the sound of trickling water and stumbled towards the sound. Her bare feet scraped against the pebbles on the ground.

A flower  went flying past her with incredible speed, followed closely by a fairy? With pink hair and a flower-petal crown.

"I'm so sorry!" The fairy exclaimed.

"No worries," Hollidaye frowned, confused.

"Well, I'm Celia." The fairy grinned, showing pointy teeth.

"I'm Hollie?" Hollie mumbled nervously.

"If you don't mind answering, Celia, where am I?" Hollie knit her brow and frowned even deeper.

"You're in the Evergreen Forest!" Celia said brightly, smiling.

Hollidaye was shocked. She was in the fairy tale that she just got?

"Why am I here?" Hollidaye asked, shock painted across her face.

"You were just sleeping, and I didn't want you to get hit by my arrow." Celia shrugged.

"Come come, Hollie! Nighttime is no place to be in the Forest," she shuddered and held a hand out to Hollidaye, which Hollidaye nervously took.

"Where are we going?" Hollie asked aloud, and Celia laughed.

"We're going to where I live, silly!"

"How will we get there?" Hollie was perplexed. Celia frowned.

"Well, I usually fly, but I might be able to carry you!" She exclaimed, picking up her quiver of flower arrows and slinging them over her shoulder.

Celia picked Hollie up with surprising strength, and Hollie squawked in protest. "It'll be fun!" She exclaimed again, and Hollie laughed at Celia's effervescence.

Celia picked Hollie up, and flew her over the treetops, and soon, a huge palace broke Hollie's view of the moon.

Celia landed, a guilty look on her face, and dusted her grass-stained white shirt off before leading Hollie through a gate made of vines.

"You live in a palace?" Hollie's voice was incredulous, and Celia laughed, adjusting a flower crown that just appeared on her head.

"Yeah! I'm the princess of the fairies, and I shouldn't have been out so late. Come, come. We have to get to my room before they find us!"

Inside the palace was amazing, a magnificent ballroom with crystal chandeliers hanging from the stone roof, and a beautiful view from the top of the palace.

Hollidaye bit her lip as she realized how high off the ground she was. "I don't like heights," she said hesitantly, and swayed a little on her feet.

"Don't pass out on me now," Celia said worriedly, biting her lip.

Hypnotized by her fear of heights, Hollie drowsily passed Celia and walked down the stone steps that led to Celia's bedroom.

She wandered down to the kitchen where she smelled the scent of food. The smell of food seemed to give Hollie a new strength.

Hollidaye opened the kitchen doors, and her fear of heights seemed to melt away as she saw fairies, cooking the food she had always desired to make.

A fairy came up to her and said, "Are you the new recruit?"

Hollie knew that she wasn't, but she said "Yes, I am!" anyways.

"Hi Merida, I'm Emalia," Emalia said brightly, after she picked up a pile of dishes, pots, and pans.
