"first: uniform."

"uniform? i get my own uniform?" donghyuck hopped like an excited child behind mark when he wasn't looking. when mark turned around to look at donghyuck, the boy stood up straight and acted like he hadn't just acted like an overexcited kid.

"yes. you've seen them. black, tight things."

mark walked to one of the rooms on the end of the hallway and opened the door, revealing a large closet like room with outfits hanging all over. there was a huge mirror on the wall so donghyuck and mark could see their reflections when they walked in.

donghyuck noticed that not every outfit was a black uniform. there were also jeans and shirts hanging up, as well as shorts and shoes of all sorts on a shelf.

mark began shuffling through a rack with black uniforms on it before pulling out one. he picked out some black shoes and handed everything to donghyuck. "try these on."

donghyuck nodded and took the items from mark. the leader didn't budge from his spot and the two just sort of awkwardly stood in front of each other. "well? aren't you gonna... uh, get out?"

mark shrugged. "we're both guys. plus you're gonna have to change in front of the other boys on missions too, so get used it."

mark watched donghyuck change like a hawk but donghyuck tried to ignore the stares. the boy self consciously stared at his feet as he pulled off his shirt to reveal his smooth tan chest. he literally shrank in his skin because mark's eyes were staring right into him.

"stop it," donghyuck hissed as he turned his front away from mark, his back facing him.

mark forced donghyuck to turn around so they were facing each other. "you're insecure?"

"n-no." donghyuck avoided mark's dark gaze.

mark dropped his hands from donghyuck's bare shoulders. "you look good," was all he said as donghyuck shrugged the black uniform shirt on his body.

as donghyuck awkwardly changed, he couldn't help but think about what mark had said about him. you look good. was that supposed to be in a casual way? he probably just thought donghyuck had gained some weight since he stayed with the mafia and it made him look healthy. wait, did he think donghyuck was hot or-

"the vest." mark handed donghyuck a black heavy vest that the boy threw on his body. the leader tried to hide a laugh as he saw donghyuck struggling to zip it up.

"here," mark said as he zipped up the vest for donghyuck. "be more gentle."

donghyuck looked at his uniform in the mirror with interest. he looked... he looked fierce. strong and capable. he puffed out his chest proudly at his reflection.

"it fits?" asked mark.

donghyuck moved around and frowned. "it's really tight! i can hardly breathe!"

"you'll get used to it."

"but it's heavy too!" whined donghyuck and mark pulled him along.

"just deal with it. next is your hair."

donghyuck choked. "my hair?"

~~~~
"it needed a cut and color. your roots were showing," said jungwoo, who had helped donghyuck with his new hairstyle. donghyuck stared in the mirror at his brown locks, now wavy with slight streaks of bright rainbow colors through them. he hated to admit it, but he really liked his new hair.
jungwoo had also provided donghyuck with some make up, instructing the boy how to put in on and having donghyuck even put his own eyeshadow on (jungwoo had said he was a natural).
mark came in as donghyuck played with his hair in his reflection, jungwoo watching. the leader nearly tripped when donghyuck turned to him, face covered in pretty make up and eyes popping. his tan skin was practically glowing and his hair was colorful and shiny.
"how do i look?" asked donghyuck and mark just hummed in response.
the leader walked up to jungwoo, whispering in the boy's ear. "he looks good." he made sure donghyuck didn't hear the comment.
jungwoo just raised his eyebrows and mark avoided the taller's gaze as he excused himself and donghyuck out from jungwoo's room.
"next up: your phone," said mark, sitting at his desk and donghyuck sitting across from him. "let's see... i have anything from samsung to apple..." he said as he went through a cabinet in the corner of his office.
"apple? iphones!" donghyuck squealed excitedly.
"lemme see... there's yellow, purple, green, red-"
"red? really?" donghyuck happily clapped when the phone was set between him and mark. mark helped him set it up and get the required apps needed for the mafia, as well as some others, such as a cartography app.
next mark helped set up donghyuck's ear piece. "this will go in your ear during missions," explained mark as he adjusted the piece in donghyuck's ear, fingers brushing against the boy's soft hair. "i'll talk to you individually and everyone as a group through this."
"what if i don't want you to talk to me?"
mark smirked. "too bad."
"first training session: an intense walk in the city," said mark as he walked donghyuck to a sleek black car in the driveway of the mansion.
"why would we walk through the city?" asked donghyuck as he climbed in the passenger side.
"because," mark paused to start the car, hearing the engine come to life, "we're going to improve your memorization and scouting skills."
they drove in silence until a car veered in front of theirs, making mark slam the brakes. his arm flew out in front of donghyuck unconsciously to prevent the boy from falling forward too much. mark honked the horn angrily at the car. "fucking idiot!" he cursed angrily.
after a moment he seemed to realized his arm was still out in front of donghyuck, lightly touching the boy's collarbones. mark retracted his arm quickly.
they got into the city, but instead of going to one of the main streets mark and donghyuck walked in one of the streets donghyuck knew he had never been to before.
they walked, mark leading the way. he led donghyuck through twists and turns and went on different streets and so forth. finally he turned to donghyuck. "retrace our steps. good luck," he said before disappearing.
"wait! how am i-" donghyuck groaned and looked around, rubbing his arms from the slight breeze. "okay, i can do this." he began to walk and used his memorization skills to go on the correct paths.
after a while he saw mark waiting in the distance and knew from his surroundings this was where they had started their walk. donghyuck sprinted up to the leader. "did i do it?" he asked.
mark showed donghyuck his stopwatch on his phone, which read 22 minutes. "you got here the same time it took for us to get done with our walk together."
"that's good?" asked donghyuck.
mark looked up at the boy and nodded steadily. "that's phenomenal."
he didn't forget to add: "nice job, donghyuck-ah."
