Judith allowed her head to gently droop in a nodding motion, once again holding her folded arms close to her body.

Prickling anxiety coursing through her bloodstream as he took a breath, his eyes settled on her like a locked gaze. He opened his mouth after a moment,

“You seem nervous.”

He spoke, his voice level yet deep and slightly accented by an unknown origin, Judith felt herself sink deeper into the chair cushion all the while avoiding eye contact

He spoke, his voice level yet deep and slightly accented by an unknown origin, Judith felt herself sink deeper into the chair cushion all the while avoiding eye contact. There was something about his watchful eyes, she couldn’t bear to gaze into them for too long out of fear that if she glared for too long, it might lock her into an inescapable state.

“It’s that obvious?”

She spoke after a moment of great hesitation, her lips trembling ever so subtly at the point of almost being unnoticeable, though of course the man in front of her had taken mental notes and was quick to analyse,

“Of course, everything that our body does reflects what we feel inside. For instance your crossed arms, normally that would show as the person in question making a barrier of sorts between them and whoever opposes them.”

He tilted his head ever so slightly as if to get a different angle to further investigate her. Judith was silent and looked to the floor after hearing this, she felt as if he had just shot through her walls like a cannonball without any effort.

“The quivering lips, there’s so much you want to let out but you aren’t allowing yourself to speak. It seems to be such an issue to the point of taking an oath of personal silence towards whatever it may be.”

Judith instantly felt as if he had just shot another cannonball, her internal walls were taking a beating from every angle now. The shroud of an emotionless mask over her face began to fault, this guy seemed to somehow look past it unlike everyone else she had come across... She began to question how this was possible.

Amongst all the internal panic she just felt as if it was like a drowning flood, she had neglected to stop herself from tearing up

Amongst all the internal panic she just felt as if it was like a drowning flood, she had neglected to stop herself from tearing up. She fell from her protective space within her head to lower and notice the wet puddle on the floor below her face. She felt immediate embarrassment and her body began to shake slightly.
