Took a while but I finally got inspiration to continue this story. Stay tuned for a few more updates this week. And thanks a bunch for being patient with me

"Heading to Russia, huh?" Cassidy smirked to herself. "Not a bad move."

Her towering figure circled the room, black stilettos tapping against the alabaster tiles. She wore a white blouse tucked into a beige pencil skirt and a peacoat of the same colour.

Her presence alone filled the room, sending the boys huddled in the corner shivering. However, Donghyun's cold stare on her never faltered. He remained at the centre of her circle, eyes trained on her as she turned her gaze back to him.

The grin she adorned brought a scowl to his face while he shoved his hands into his hoodie pockets and raised an eyebrow at her.

"I knew you'd be of good use," Cassidy commented. "Rich had his doubts but I know your type. You'd do anything for money."

"Speaking of money, I was told I was going to be paid. So pay me."

"I will in due time. I just need a bit more information for now. The price could double. Oh, and we'll assign someone to help you out."

"Give me my money, Cassidy. I ain't playing games with you anymore."

She glared at him, her grin morphing into a frown, "Did you not hear me? Do I have to repeat myself? The price could double, Donghyun. You could get a million dollars."

"I heard you. So what if my money could double? I don't want to do this anymore. Just give me my money already."

"Don't want to do this anymore?" she repeated, an amused expression making its way across her face. "Why not?"

He loathed the look she gave him, absolutely abhorred it but he knew better than to fuel it.

"Give me my money or I swear you will pay with much more than just your life."

"Oh really? Are you sure about that? Because the way I see it, you are in my domain, my kingdom and with as little as the click of a button, all my guards will be here to kill you. I'm not your enemy, Donghyun, and you seem to be forgetting that."

"I'm an assassin, and you seem to be forgetting that. So I will give you five days to hand my money over or else."

"I wouldn't test me if I were you," she warned.

"I could say the same thing," his icy glare was fixated on her as she halted, returning it. "The deal was give you information and you'll give me five hundred thousand dollars. It would be a shame if Paige was ever to hear about your plans to kill her off."

"You wouldn't. I know you know better than that. I know you."

Chan watched from the corner as Cassidy approached Donghyun. The atmosphere was tense and he couldn't guarantee either of them would leave the room unharmed.

The expression on Donghyun's face was unreadable. He poked his tongue against the inside of his mouth, seemingly thinking. Their close proximity brought him balling his fists until his knuckles turned white. It was obvious that it was taking all of his energy not to attack her then and there.

She was right, she knew him. She knew details about his past he wished to erase and his darkest thoughts. She knew too much about him and while he barely understood her, he knew her tricks better than anyone else. She was provoking him, prying an attack out of him so she'd have a valid reason to kill him.

At that moment, the door opened, revealing Richard. The man simply glanced at Cassidy before shooting Donghyun a warm smile.

"Good afternoon, Mr Kim. So good to have you with us on this fine day. Any new news?"

"They head to Russia in two days... And they have Lincoln," Cassidy reveals.

Richard's eyes widened a fraction. The crimson suit he wore contrasted his disheveled grey hair and pale, wrinkled face. Donghyun found it distasteful. Perhaps it was the appearance of the man or his foul ambiance, whatever it was, Donghyun felt overwhelmingly ill. As though he would throw up at any given second.

"Great work, Mr Kim. I must say, you have been a great help to us. It's almost ahaming to ask you for one more favour."

"He refuses. Not even for double," Cassidy stated. "He has become fond towards her. I wonder what would he'd do if ever something terrible happened to her."

Donghyun awarded her a sarcastic smile, "you want to kill her so bad? Be my guest. I did what you asked of me. I pretended to work for the Rebellion, I led Stray Kids to your trap and I have told you all their plans. Kill her if you wish. But I will not partake in it. Now pay me."

"Unfortunately," Richard's grin dropped. "We can't allow that. You already know too much about us. There are only two ways you can leave us now: either we kill you or you kill Paige. So who will it be?"
