From Hate To Love [Sonadow Love Story]

Episode 5 "Uncomfortable situation"

Sonic's POV
I open my eyes and saw that I'm again in Shadow's house. I don't remember anything from yesterday, only that someone shot my back and then everything went blurry. I looked around the room, searching for Shadow. Then I heard him shout.
"You are awake!!!" He run towards me and hug me strong.
"Shadow? You... saved me?" I said calmly and hug him back.
"...Yes. I couldn't leave you alone... God knows what Eggman wanted to do to you..." He sniffed and I looked at him. He had tears in eyes. There was a long silence, then I finally spoke.
"I'm alright, you don't need to worry about me... but... I want to say that I really appreciate your help" I said and cleaned his tears.
"I-I though that he killed y-you! I w-was protecting y-your weak b-body to the e-end! I didn't let h-him hurt y-you more!" He sobbed. We stand up from bed and he hugged me once again. He won't let me go, he is scared and protective at the same time. I just hugged him back and pet his quils.
"There, there. everything is fine now. Stay that close as long as you want if that makes you feel better" I said. We stayed like this for few minutes.
"Let's go outside. You'll catch some fresh air. What about a race?" I gave him a smile.
"Sure... I have nothing better to do..." He just walk out of the house. I followed him.
"Alright. Ready. Set. Go!" I shout and we both start to run.

Shadow's POV
We were running for 15 minutes now. He won't let me win. I was panting heavily, I was tired as hell.
"H-Hedgehog, where is the f-finish line...? I... I can't run much l-longer" I said. He looked at me.
"Nowhere haha, little hedgie is tired huh?" He joked, I hope it was a joke.
"Oh I hate you so much!" I growled and stoped. He saw that and stoped as well. I though he will say something like hah! You lose! But... He turned around to face me and I only saw his sad face.
"You mean it...? You really hate me...?" He said with sadness in his voice.
"N-no, it was a joke! I-... I don't hate you... I..." I step closer to him but... there was a rock right under my shoe and I... Fall down on top of Sonic... That was embarrassing. He was under me and I looked deep to his Emerald eyes. His eyes are so beautiful, I wish I could tell him what I feel... But that's impossible... He will think I'm crazy...
"... I'm sorry, I guess that's making you uncomfortable. You don't need to tell me to get off, I'll do it myself" I wanted to get off Sonic but then... He swap positions and laid on top of me.
"Sonic... What are you-...?" I was trying to say something. He was leaning closer to me. I froze.
